Shortly after Huo Jinfeng got back to the living room, Huo Yao and Uncle Changfeng came down from upstairs
The villa was very big. They spent 30 minutes just looking around, but they had only covered one-third of its grounds till now.
As they approached each other, Huo Changfeng could sense Master Jinfeng was uncharacteristically happy, so he could not help feeling astonished.
Ever since Miss Tong left, Master Jinfeng had never been happy. Even though he was very pleased about officially meeting Miss Huo today and in a good mood, his joy was quite different.
Huo Changfeng looked at the butler quizzically.
Did this have something to do with the visitor whom Master Jinfeng had just met?
Huo Jinfeng failed to detect the expression on Huo Changfeng’s face. He waved at his niece and gestured for her to take a seat. “How was your tour? Do you like it here?”
Huo Yao blinked and lamented. “Your place is very grand!”
He was undoubtedly a man living the life of luxury!
As she strolled around the villa, even the air she breathed smelled like money.
Huo Jinfeng smiled. “Yaoyao, if you like it, you can spend a few days with me then.”
In reality, he wanted her to move over permanently, but if he brought this up, his younger brother might lose it.
Huo Yao sighed. “No can do. I have to go back home with my teacher and senior brothers tomorrow.”
“Oh really?” Huo Jinfeng sounded disappointed. He paused for a few seconds and said, “You hardly travel so far. Why don’t I get Changfeng to talk to your teachers and take a few days of leave for you? That way you can spend a few more days here, right?”
Huo Jinfeng had a good impression of Huo Yao. He instinctively liked her and wanted to be close to her. It was probably because they were connected by blood.
“He’s right, Miss Huo. It’s not every day you come here. Why don’t you spend a few more days with us?” Huo Changfeng was still feeling worried about Master Jinfeng’s health as he spoke.
Huo Yao looked at Uncle Changfeng who looked worried and knew the reason for his reaction. She paused for a few seconds and said, “Okay then. I’ll call my teacher later and let him know.”
She was also worried about her eldest uncle’s health, and it did not hurt to spend a few more days here.
Huo Jinfeng was delighted to hear the answer. However, he promptly felt a little annoyed and could not help glaring at Huo Changfeng.
He had a feeling that his chief steward’s words held more weight than his in his niece’s heart.
After the feeling took root in Huo Jinfeng’s heart, he felt very jealous. Huo Jinfeng cleared his throat and said with a straight face, “Okay then. Changfeng can personally handle this. After all, he has nothing better to do. It’s only right for us to speak to the teacher in person.”

“Huh?” Huo Yao said, “It’s fine. I can just call my teacher.”
Huo Jinfeng did not give his niece the chance to speak. He raised his hand to interrupt and turned to say to Huo Changfeng, “Changfeng, you can go now. Thank you.”
Huo Changfeng did not know how he had offended his boss. After some time, he replied. “No trouble at all.”
Huo Jinfeng nodded. He disregarded the look of shock on the chief steward’s face and veered his eyes. He paused before looking at him again. “Oh yes. I recall you haven’t taken leave in a very long time, right? In that case, you can take a few days off and relax. You can take your time and don’t bother coming back to work so soon.”
Huo Changfeng went quiet.
Did he want to keep him away?
Huo Changfeng looked at Master Jinfeng in annoyance. If the elders saw Master Jinfeng’s naïve behavior, their eyes might pop out from their sockets.
