Chapter 1361 - I Miss You
Chapter 1361: I Miss You
Ping Ping had a stern expression on her face as she looked at Jun Xiqing. “Your Highness, are you really going to send President Lu onto Dongfang Ruoli’s bed for your eldest sister’s sake?”
Clear eyes continued to look at the scenery outside the window. “Why not? Their main aim is him.”
Ping Ping couldn’t figure out what she was thinking, but she also knew that Lu Yeming was like. He was the best at scheming and setting traps, how could he possibly be fooled?
It seemed like a huge storm was approaching soon.
…
XX Hotel, in the Presidential suite.
Jun Xiqing took her phone out, sending a text message. “Come to room number 8806 to find me tonight.”
8806, it was her room number.
The message was sent and Jun Xiqing stood in front of the windows, lowering her eyes to look at the unread message that seemed to loom over her heart…
…
Half an hour later, someone was knocking on the door outside. It made a rhythmic sound.
Jun Xiqing walked over to open the door.
A tall figure stood outside, it was Lu Yeming. He wore a full black outfit that was immaculate and he exuded his usual dignified aura. The faint yellow lights along the corridor shone on his handsome face and one just couldn’t take their eyes off of him.
As Lu Yeming looked at her, his gaze travelled all over her body.
Jun Xiqing had taken a shower, wearing a white nightgown that cut off at her knees, revealing her long legs. She wasn’t wearing slippers, just standing on the carpet barefoot.
Noticing his gaze, her toes curled up.
Lu Yeming stepped inside, closing the door behind him.
Wrapping his arms around her waist, he leaned forward to kiss her.
But she turned her face. “What are you doing?”
Lu Yeming pressed his lips against her cheek, taking in the clean fragrance she emanated. “You asked me to come to your room at night, don’t tell me that you asked me here for stargazing, or to talk about poems and philosophy. I really thought that you asked me here to… do it.”
“…”
Placing both hands on his muscular chest, she tried to push him away.
But Lu Yeming’s hands traveled to the back of her head, taking out the pin in her hair. In the next moment, all her hair was let down.
Jun Xiqing’s heart thumped wildly. She hadn’t let her hair down for the past three years. Ever since she started her political journey, her hair was always combed up into an updo.
Lu Yeming looked at her, she had thick raven hair, a tiny face, red lips, pearly white teeth and seductive eyes. She was stunning.
He slowly approached her.
Jun Xiqing started moving backwards, until she hit the wall. Approaching her like a panther stalking it’s prey, Lu Yeming picked up her jaw and he kissed her red lips.
His clean, masculine scent completely overwhelmed her.
Jun Xiqing was immersed in the kiss.
But she suddenly started resisting him. “Go and take a shower first.”
Lu Yeming didn’t want to let go of her. With furrowed brows, he continued kissing the tip of her nose and then her forehead. “Let’s do it first, we can shower after.”
“Go and shower first,” Jun Xiqing insisted.
“Ha.” Lu Yeming let out a laugh. He looked at her with narrowed eyes and with a spurious smile on his face, he insisted, “We’re going to do it first and shower later.”
This man was simply overbearing, not giving her any other option.
Jun Xiqing’s face had turned all red, feeling annoyed as she glared at him.
Seconds later, Lu Yeming lifted his hand, raking his fingers through her hair and he lightly held pressed on it. It seemed like he was merely kissing her but Jun Xiqing knew that he was pressing down on the listening bug in her hair.
The listening bug was tiny and barely visible. He just pressed on it with his palm. The person listening to them should only hear distorted noise.
“Did someone delete the text message I sent you three years ago? Was it Jun Xiyan?”
He pushed her against the wall, asking her a rhetorical question. He seemed to already know the answer.
Jun Xiqing looked at him, not answering the question. She remained calm and said, “I’m not interested in getting involved in Country A’s rivalry. But I’m being listened to by a mysterious someone and you’re also keeping me under surveillance, hm?”
Her final ‘hm’ was imperious.
Lu Yeming raised his brows. Raising the corners of her lips, she touched his face and spoke with a nonchalant tone, “What do you take me for? A scapegoat? Ha, you’re really daring.”
With dark eyes, Lu Yeming continued to look at her. It was as if he couldn’t ever take his eyes off of her, she was always dazzling.
The famous youngest daughter of the Jun family had become a political leader now.
He held her hand, murmuring, “You saw the text I sent three years ago already?”
He knew everything.
Ever since she first appeared at the conference, he had noticed every move of hers.
After coming out of the movie theater, he already knew that she had found out about the text from three years ago.
This man was meticulous, even more so than three years ago. And now he was asking her about the text message she hadn’t opened yet.
“I haven’t seen it,” Jun Xiqing answered him almost immediately.
Lu Yeming laughed. “Really?”
His gaze was piercing, almost like an x-ray that could shoot right through her.
Jun Xiqing averted her eyes. “Really.”
“Little liar, you’re trying to fool me again?”
His tone was somewhat gentle and affectionate.
Jun Xiqing didn’t like it when he behaved like that. How could he give off wrong signals to a woman he didn’t love? With her hands on his chest, she tried to push him away.
“I miss you…”
A deep and magnetic voice resounded in her ears. He said, I miss you…
Three years ago, he had sent her a text message saying I miss you…
Three years later, he said it to her in person.
Jun Xiqing’s pupils dilated and she stopped all movements.
Lu Yeming lowered his eyes, kissing her forehead. “Qingqing, you saw it. I know that you saw it, stop denying it.
I miss you. Three years ago, Mo’er left me and she constantly appeared in my dreams, but you appeared too.
“I actually tried forgetting about Mo’er and gave myself to you. I thought that I would do anything I could to give you everything your heart desired. But you didn’t reply and even blocked me. I don’t even know why I didn’t actually marry Dongfang Ruoli back then. I don’t need the three years, I have a faster way out..
“Qingqing, like I said, the text from three years ago is still valid. I’ve been waiting for your reply. Now, tell me your answer.”
