Xuan Ying looked at Mu Mu. “Are you scared? You can hug me tightly and not look.”
Mu Mu’s eyes were bright and sparkly, she replied, “I won’t, I’m not scared.”
Xuan Ying smiled. Lingling wasn’t strong and brave like that, he wondered who Mu Mu even resembled?
Did she resemble her father?
To be able to have such an obedient daughter, her father must have had good genes too.

After making sure everything had been settled, Xuan Ying lifted his eyes, looking at Feng Lingxue who stood in front.
Feng Lingxue’s pupils landed on his handsome face. A few moments later, her vision darkened and she fainted.

Feng Lingxue could hear someone calling her, a sweet voice rang in her ears. Her lashes moved and Feng Lingxue slowly opened her eyes.
It was morning and the sun rays shone through the curtains, the room nice and bright.
“Mommy~”
Feng Lingxue looked beside her, noticing Mu Mu resting on her arm.
They lay on the bed, wearing the same white pajamas, just like two angels.
“Mommy, you’re awake? You’ve been sleeping for a really long time.”
Feng Lingxue blinked, making sure that this was all real and she wasn’t in a dream. Raising the corners of her lips, she beamed as she pulled Mu Mu into her arms. “Mu Mu, it feels like I’ve slept for really long and had a really long dream.”
“What kind of dream?”
“Hm, I can’t recall it… Mu Mu, are you hungry? Let Mommy make you some delicious breakfast.”
“Oh yay!”
They got down the bed, entering the bathroom to wash up. There were two sets of pink cups, pink towels and pink furry slippers in the bathroom.
They were living in an apartment that wasn’t huge, it wasn’t located in the prime district in Country A, but rather, a quiet and peaceful district. It had pink, pale yellow, pastel blue furnishings inside, making it feel really cozy.
The apartment had been registered under Feng Lingxue’s name, she even found a debit card that had 200 thousand dollars deposited inside.
Everything was well laid out and organized.
When Feng Lingxue looked at herself in the mirror, she saw that her face was beautiful, the scar on her face was gone and her skin was supple and radiant.
As Feng Lingxue sat on the wool carpet, she pulled her hair into a low ponytail and it entangled around her neck. She held her knees with one hand, stretching the other out as the golden sun rays seeped in through the window.
These past few days were just like a dream.
It seemed to have passed in the blink of an eye.
She had no idea how long she had slept for, but the moment she woke up, she couldn’t recall many things. The only thing she remembered was she had a darling, Mu Mu.
Her cell phone started to ring. Someone was calling her.
Who was it?
Feng Lingxue answered the call, “Hello.”
“Congratulations, Xia Ling, you’ve been accepted to A University. Please report to campus at 9am tomorrow, remember to be punctual.”
A University was the most prestigious university in Country A, with all elites gathered there. Regardless of race, religion, family background, all students were given a fair chance and it had a good reputation of being heaven on earth.

Feng Lingxue gasped, she had been accepted by A University?

She jumped up happily. “Thank you, I’ll be there tomorrow on time.”

The person hung up.
Feng Lingxue danced around in circles, she could finally go to school. But wait, Xia Ling?

“Mommy~” Mu Mu ran over, hugging Xia Ling’s calf.
Xia Ling lowered her eyes to look at Mu Mu. Mu Mu wore a white down jacket, her huge eyes bright and clear, she really was adorable.
She was really happy.
Her life now was just as wonderful as a dream.
The fragrance of millet porridge could be smelled and Xia Ling bent over, carrying Mu Mu. “Mu Mu, let’s go have breakfast.”
“Oh yay!”
“Mu Mu, Mommy’s going to head to school later. We still have some savings and Mommy’s going to find you a good kindergarten. Mommy’s going to study hard and have part-time jobs to make our lives better.”
Mu Mu hugged Xia Ling’s neck, leaning forward to give her a peck. “Mommy is the best.”
Xia Ling reciprocated by giving Mu Mu a kiss. “My Mu Mu is the best.”
The apartment was filled with joyful laughter.

Xia Ling got on a public bus, heading straight to the A University. Her apartment was a short distance away from A University, it would only take a short journey to get there.
After paying the bus fare, she found a seat that was near the window and the bus started moving. The bus passed the prime district in the city center and it was a complete pandemonium outside.
Feng Lingxue looked, armed officers were maintaining public order while the area was cordoned off. The media and spectators had surrounded the place, it seemed to be a huge issue.
