Warrior’s Promise

Under the starry sky, Su Mo halted.

As he watched the borderless universe and galaxy, the starry sky contrasted with the background of pitch darkness. He experienced a sense of serenity.

All arrangements had been made. He had taken care of everything. He could leave for the God’s Path with no worry.

Li Shi had left. Gongcheng Tai Hao had departed. The Sky Tyrant Clan had a remote possibility to become his foe.

However, all of the resources in the Sky Tyrant Clan had been taken away. Li Zun would not let things go lightly. He could visit the Infinite Region again. Even if his intention was not to fight him, he might use the opportunity to locate the Dark Shadow Tribe.

Therefore, there was a need for him to visit the Sky Tyrant Clan to explain the situation to Li Zun.

He thought in silence for a while, then Su Mo flew towards the Sky Tyrant Star.

He arrived at the Sky Tyrant Star shortly.

A hundred stars surrounded the Sky Tyrant Star. They formed a tight security control. The narrow path in the middle was heavily guarded.

Su Mo flew like lightning towards the entrance.

“Halt!”

Two warriors from the Sky Tyrant Clan shouted when they had discovered the trespasser.

However, Su Mo did not bother. He was like a sharp sword with mighty power, and he headed for the narrow path in the middle.

“What?”

The two guards were alarmed, they had experienced Su Mo’s forceful prowess. They dared not stop him and gave way for him to enter.

Swoosh!

Su Mo made a smooth entry into the Sky Tyrant Star and soon he reached the sky above the Sky Tyrant Clan.

His majestic force was like a strong tidal wave, which swayed the world and sent deterrents in all directions.

The commotion had shaken the entire Sky Tyrant Star and a few neighbouring stars.

Swoosh!

In a flash, many warriors, including the members from the Sky Tyrant Clan, moved forward to surround Su Mo.

There were many masters amongst the Sky Tyrant Clan. A few thousand masters flew to reach Su Mo.

“Su Mo, do you really think you are invincible?”

Li Zun also appeared and he was cross. He had assumed that Su Mo’s target was him.

Afterall, in the previous fight in the Infinite Region, he had been injured and he had fled.

However, Su Mo was outnumbered in the Sky Tyrant Clan, so they were not intimidated by Su Mo.

“Li Zun, my purpose is to inform you that Dark Shadow Tribe was acting on my instructions to attack your tribe!” Su Mo said matter-of-factly.

“What? It was your order?” When Li Zun heard this, he was enraged.

The entirety of Sky Tyrant Clan was furious.

So, the culprit was Su Mo.

Hoo! Hoo!

Li Zun was mad and his chest heaved to contain his rage. All the clan’s resources had been looted. The clan had nothing left.

Even though they were powerful and dominated a few stars, it would still take time to collect resources.

Furthermore, some resources, such as the Myriad Path Empty World, was an heirloom. Therefore, the loss was substantial.

Despite his anger, Li Zun controlled his urge to strike. After all, Su Mo was indeed indomitable.

Furthermore, if they fought on the star, then entire Sky Tyrant Star would be destroyed. Their clan members would perish.

“You came to tell us this? What’s your intention?” Li Zun asked angrily.

“I have no ulterior motive. I merely wanted to let you know that if you fight the Dark Shadow Tribe, you are in fact fighting against me. I will not show mercy. You had better think twice!”

Su Mo stated in a loud voice. With those words, he turned to go.

“Outrageous!” Li Zun clenched his fists as he watched Su Mo leave.

He had never been threatened or intimidated before. However, this time, his lost control of his fury.

Li Zun’s eyes flickered as he was thinking. He believed that Su Mo had known that Gongcheng Tai Hao was already on his way to the God’s Path.

It would not be long before Su Mo followed suit.

Therefore he devised a plan to ambush Su Mo at the entrance of the God’s Path.

“The entrance to the God’s Path will be your burial ground!” Li Zun thought to himself. However he was not aware of when Su Mo would be travelling to the God’s Path. Still he had to make plans.

“Too arrogant!”

“We shall seek vengeance in the future!”

“What a bragger!”

Most of the masters of the Sky Tyrant Clan were hopping mad. However as the clan leader did not strike, all they could do was vent their displeasure through making some roars.

Su Mo felt at ease after leaving the Sky Tyrant Clan.

With his threats, Li Zun would not make a hasty trip to the Infinite Region to attack the Dark Shadow Tribe in the short term. In the future, the Dark Shadow Tribe might easily take down the Sky Tyrant Clan.

“The God’s Path!”

As he watched the limitless skyline, Su Mo felt a great relief as his burden had been lifted. He could focus on his journey to the God’s Path.

However, he must first find one colourful flag in order to locate the entrance to enter the God’s Path.

Su Mo picked a random start to find out information from their masters. He now knew the location of the colourful flags.

After a day, on a medium sized star.

Streams of lights descended from the sky and were transformed into a youth.

“We are already here!”

Su Mo stood in the airspace to watch the distant grounds.

This star was an abandoned one. There was a scarcity of Spiritual Qi and the land was barren, just like the other bases on the star.

Su Mo’s spiritual senses were activated to engulf the entire star. Soon enough, he was able to locate the colourful flag.

Phew!

Su Mo’s shadow was swift as sword. In a flash, he landed on the ground where the colourful flag was erected.

The flagpoles were at least several tens of thousand miles. They towered into the clouds from where they stood.

It was an impressive sight. The flag was like a curtain that swayed in the winds, and they draped over the sky.

This colourful flag was no different from the flag in the Infinite Region.

As he watched the huge, colourful flag, Su Mo took a deep breath as he slowly flew towards the flag.

He was careful, because he could feel a terrifying aura on the flag. That aura brought heart palpitations.

As he neared the flag, Su Mo felt a force land on his body.

This force could injure an ordinary Empty God. However Su Mo was unaffected.

Swiftly and deftly, Su Mo came into the hundred-mile radius of the flag, and he stopped.

According to Bai Tiannan, within a hundred miles, he would be able to enter the God’s Path when his mind power and the flag were connected through Meditation.

Su Mo slowly closed his eyes to release his mind power. It slowly moved to envelop the colourful flag.

In a quick second, his mind power enveloped the colourful flag as he meditated in silence.

A strange force came to merge with Su Mo’s mind power, and both were sparring for a while.

After a while, a strange phenomenon appeared. The airspace in front of Su Mo started to crumble.

The space crumbled continuously until it extended to the colourful flag. Subsequently, he saw the centre of the flag collapse and a big black hole was created.

The black hole was like an abyss, there was no Spiritual Qi, and it seemed to lead to the unknown territory.

Phew!

Su Mo slowly opened his eyes and watched the pitch-black passageway. He took a deep breath and he walked steadily towards the dark connector. Soon, he vanished.
