Chapter 236 - Elbow Bent Outward
Chapter 236: Elbow Bent Outward
Chuling just declared that one statement then hit him hard in the face. Her ferocity made everyone’s hair stand on end.
“Chuling, enough. Any more, and you’ll kill him.” Luo Yunzhu saw that she was going to kill him soon, so she pulled Chuling off him. Her brother was the family’s only son, and she at least had to allow her family name to continue.
Chuling’s eyes were bloodshot as she bit her lower lip and glared fiercely at Luo Zhouquan. “If you say anything bad about them again, I’ll whack you one more time.”
Nobody was allowed to say anything bad about her Miss and Miss Luo. If anybody tried, she’d beat them up.
Luo Zhouquan’s face was as swollen as a pig’s head. When he saw Chuling glaring at him so fiercely, he was so scared that he shrank back. This crazy woman had nearly beaten him to death!
“Chuling, you did great!” Luo Yunzhu gave Chuling a thumbs up. She’d wanted to beat up this brother of hers for a long time, and today’s thumping made her feel great. Besides, Chuling’s skills had indeed improved tremendously – very impressive.
The two had just stepped onto the academy grounds and were called over by Luo Yuanjie. Luo Yunzhu saw that her father had a serious face on, so she quickly put on her prettiest smile and ran over to take his arm and said coquettishly, “Father, Brother was bullying me. He called me a crow, won’t you hit him for me?”
“Quan’er has already been beaten to the point where his head is as swollen as a pig’s, and you want me to beat him until he can’t walk anymore?” Dean Luo glared at her, then turned to Feng Tianlan.
Luo Yunzhu panicked when she saw him looking at Feng Tianlan. She quickly let go of his arm and ran to stand in front of Feng Tianlan to protect her. “Father, are you going to beat Tianlan? I told you that you must not hurt her. If you want, you can hit me, but I won’t let you touch Tianlan.”
“Look how your elbow is all bent toward me. Even I don’t have the privilege of you protecting me like that.” Luo Yuanjie glared at her unhappily. This girl only knew how to make him angry.
Luo Yunzhu pouted. “Father is so powerful. You don’t need me to protect you.”
“I won’t hit her!”
Luo Yunzhu smiled and went back to holding his arm and happily said, “Father, you’re the best.”
“However, there’s a reason for everything. Your brother is badly hurt, so I don’t have to punish him further. But as for you girls…”
Before he could finish, Luo Yunzhu panicked and ran in front of Feng Tianlan again. “Then you can just punish me. This has nothing to do with Tianlan and Chuling.”
Luo Yuanjie saw how his daughter was so protective of this girl and felt a little sour inside. He had brought her up for more than ten years, but she had never protected him like this – he was so envious.
“As punishment, you girls will tidy up the library.” If he didn’t quickly pronounce the punishment, Zhu’er was going to pounce on him.
“Alright.” Luo Yunzhu happily nodded. This was a light punishment.
“You two can go now. I have something to say to the Feng Clan Head.”
“Father, you won’t take this chance to hit her behind my back, right?” Luo Yunzhu looked warily at her father.
“Your father is not a man of such poor character. If you don’t leave now, I’m going to hit you.” Luo Yuanjie was going to have a fit soon. What sort of daughter was this, holding her elbows out toward him? Tsk!
Luo Yunzhu laughed happily. “Tianlan, if my father hits you, just yell, and I’ll start crying in front of him.” With that, she went off with Chuling.
Feng Tianlan nearly burst out laughing. It was so lovely to see how close this father and daughter were, and she was envious. If her parents from her previous life were still alive, she would have been doted on like this too.
“Feng Clan Head, you have made me look at you in a different light.”
Feng Tianlan wiped the smile off her face. “Dean Luo, you can get straight to the point.”
Luo Yuanjie fell silent for a while. After some hesitation, he said very seriously, “I was prejudiced against you in the past, and I would like to apologize for that.”
Feng Tianlan was a little surprised. She hadn’t expected an academy dean and a strong fighter like him to apologize to someone younger like her.
