Palace of Heaven’s Roars once was one of the 12 major forces of the Central Plains with many affiliated families and countless warriors in its army.

As the orders were sent, the troops sprang to work. They gathered the civilians from other cities and clans and sent them to the City of Heaven’s Roars one group after another.

Since the Teleportation Formation could not take so many passengers, some warriors used iron-ships and ancient chariot to deliver the civilians.

Around the City of Heaven’s Roars emerged a magnificent scene. Far and near, huge iron-ships and ancient chariots were flying around, delivering countless humans over. The vehicles covered up the sky and extended to the horizon.

Palace of Heaven’s Roars arranged for supplies of tents and food. After all, too many people were sent over. Chaos might arise from such situations. If those Semi-God Realm warriors were enraged, Master of the Palace of Heaven’s Roars and the others who had turned soul slaves would end up in misery.

The majority of the people being sent here were not warriors and they had to be carried to the ships by warriors. Among the people were the elderly, women, and children.

They did not know why Master of the Palace of Heaven’s Roars wanted them here. In their eyes were confusion and fear but none dared to run away. Given the fact that they were not warriors, they would have been eaten up by Xuan Beasts even if they managed to escape to the mountains.

To the north of the City of Heaven’s Roars was a boundless plain which was now crowded with people who were compelled to stay within their tents at all times for all daily businesses. Every one thousand feet there was a guard who would kill anyone up to monkey business.

Ten million, thirty million, fifty million…

The Teleportation Formation kept operating—and tens of thousands of iron-ships and ancient chariots transported over more people. An increasing number of people were gathered at the northern City of Heaven’s Roars. The tents here extended to the horizon.

It was only five days and over fifty million humans had been gathered here. As time moved on, more would come.

Master of Palace of Heaven’s Roars and the Family Patriarchs were so worried that their hair turned white. The demand for food and water every day for this many people was huge. Without such food and water, the civilians would starve to death, which could incur large-scale chaos and panic…

Fang Rui and the others of the group had been living in the City of Heaven’s Roars. They didn’t go anywhere. But they sent someone to gather information as a way to learn about the Great Land.

Even if they were not, Fang Rui and the group would not be able to enter the Inferno on account of the rules of Purgatory of Primordial Chaos. Therefore, to kidnap Lu Li’s families and friends was virtually impossible.

Since it was pointless to travel to other places, Fang Rui and the group did not leave. They stayed. They would gather a large number of humans and recorded the scene with print stones to threaten Lu Li.

Another five days went by.

Over one hundred million humans had arrived. Fang Rui went into action. He and the twenty-some Semi-God Realm warriors flew up and used print stones to record the scene.

The twenty-some Semi-God Realm warriors were full of furious homicidal intentions. The countless humans on the ground were like lambs waiting to be butchered. Their eyes filled with dread, their faces showed confusion and their bodies that were trembling were all recorded by the print stones.

“Alright now!”

Fang Rui flew around and then handed the print stone to a Semi-God Realm. “Give the print stone to Lord Yan now.”

That Semi-God Realm left and arrived at the entrance of the Demon-slaying Battleground after several rounds of teleportation. He flew quickly to Yan Gu. Arriving at the site, the Semi-God Realm warrior saw that Yan Gu and the others were still waiting and had not attacked at the Wicked Bead.

But the Semi-God Realm warrior did not ask questions. He flew over, handed the print stone to Yan Gu and reported, “Lord Yan, we have gathered over one hundred million humans at the City of Heaven’s Roars and the number is still on the rise. We suppose that after 10 days, the number will reach two to three hundred million. We will kill them all upon your orders.”

“Okay!”

Yan Gu nodded, indifferently. He showed no emotions. For him, the Heaven Reverse Universe was just a small one and the people here were no different from beasts or other alien races. He would not feel sorry even if all living beings of the Heaven Reverse Universe were to decease.

Any warrior that wanted to become a powerful one must experience slaughter or else he or she would never become powerful. The higher-ups in major families all killed their way up. How else would they control their subordinates? Yan Gu and Chen Tianxian, as well as the others, all had killed millions or tens of millions.

“Go back!”

Yan Gu said, after some thought, “Tell Fang Rui to take control of the hundreds of millions of humans first. Do not let anything go wrong and wait for my orders!”

“Yes~”

The warrior at the initial stage of the Semi-God Realm left. Yan Gu poured Xuan Energy into the print stone which soon lit up. An image popped out in the sky. In the image, was the scene at the northern City of Heaven’s Roars.

“This is very good!”

Chen Tianxian, Feng Wanhu, and Jun Hongye threw a few glances, satisfied. Jun Hongye then gazed at the mountain in the distance and said with a frown, “It has been 10 days and there is no reaction from Lu Li. He has not recovered? Should we strike at him to alert him?”

“Let’s wait for a few more days…”

Yan Gu said. “They have only captured a hundred million humans. We will talk with Lu Li after more are captured.”

“Okay!”

The others could do nothing. They sat down and waited quietly.

It was true that Lu Li was still in a coma. He was weak from consuming the Slayer’s blood. To make it worse, he was seriously wounded. Therefore, he had been sleeping.

Master of Haechi fed Lu Li with top-level healing pellets so the latter’s wounds had been healing. The side effects of consuming the Slayer’s blood were not as severe as compared with the past. His strength was not entirely consumed. He should be waking up in two to three days.

But Master of Haechi was surprised to find that Lu Li only came back to his senses after nine days. At first, Lu Li did not open his eyes. He felt his head was heavy. It took him quite a while to become sober.

He still kept his eyes closed and replayed the last scene before he passed out. It was when Zi Lian let herself explode.

“God of Wings!”

Lu Li bellowed, clenching his teeth in hatred. He held God of Wings responsible for Zi Lian’s death. One way or another, God of Wings had everything to do with it.

“God of Wings, just you wait!”

Lu Li said to himself. If he could survive and could ascend to the Divinity, he would try everything to kill God of Wings to comfort the spirit of the deceased Zi Lian.

“Boom, boom, boom~”

While his thoughts were flying wildly, Yan Gu and others were losing patience. They poured out Xuan Energy and blasted at the mountain the Wicked Bead was at.

Lu Li was startled. He used psychic power to check. When he saw Yan Gu and others were attacking from the distance, his face became clouded.

The Slayer’s blood was gone. God of Sorcerer, God of Barbarian and Emperor of Heaven Reverse could not offer help. Lu Li had no other plans.

Yan Gu and the others were unwilling to admit defeat and leave. Where was the way out for Lu Li?
