50 Chapter 51 “Selecting Beast“
Li Shi Ying who had finished her criteria of the beast she wanted, first asked Mao Mao who was standing behind her.
"Mao Mao...what kind of tool that your transformation form had?" Li Shi Ying asked Mao Mao in beast languange. After all...she would accept Mao Mao as her companion even if his transformation form wasn’t suitable with her criteria.
"Ah...my transformation is ying \u0026 yang purse. It is a spatial purse as large as a small room" Mao Mao scratched his head bashfully. He also hope that Li Shi Ying would choose her to be one of the 10 divine beast protector.
"Eh? you can transform into a spatial purse???" Li Shi Ying was surprised by this fact. Usually divine beasts only transform into a basic tool but they didn’t have magical ability like storage space. But she did knew that some rare divine beast have that ability.
And every divine beast have a special ability but their transformation form would be a normal tool used by human. It was the first time Li Shi Ying saw a divine beast who could transform into a tool with spatial storage function!
"Yes..i am a rare species. All my race had this ability to transform into something that have storage space function..." Mao Mao nodded his head as he told Li Shi Ying about his race. He was a rare kind of divine beast. A panda race!
Li Shi Ying was so happy that Mao Mao have that kind of cheat skill. With that she would also have a storage space just like the female lead! Even though Mao Mao space wasn’t that big but still it was a rare storage space afterall.
Li Shi Ying then told Jiu Wei that the first spot for divine beast protector was given to Mao Mao.
After that she faced the crowd of beasts below her and said. "The divine beast type that i want is the one who could transform into these kind of tools which are: male/female hairpin, ring/bracelet/necklace, veil, jade pendant and lastly cloak. Those who couldn’t transform into these tools...i’m sorry i couldn’t choose them!" Li Shi Ying said her criteria of beast with beast languange.
The 40 divine beasts began to fret over as some of them was grinning with happiness and some dejectfully left the ground.
Those beasts admire Li Shi Ying more when they knew that she could speak in beast languange. The divine beasts left were happy that they still had a chance to be one of the 10 divine beast protector.
After that Li Shi Ying asked all divine beasts to transform into their transformation form. She then looked around to found a good-looking tools which were the transformation form of those beasts.
Finally she settled down for a big white fur cloak, a silver male hairclip, a green male jade pendant, a blue fan, and a black ring for Jiu Wei to used.
As for herself she choose a golden bell female hairpin, a crystal female bracelet, a white veil and a white deer skin cloak.
After she choose, she let those selected beast to transformed back and introduced themself including their skill.
The first one was the divine beast which will be worn by Jiu Wei. It was a giant white mammoth.
"Greetings mistress! I am a giant white mammoth. Transformation form is a white fur cloak. Special ability is snow element!" The giant mammoth actually had a name but in order to not made Li Shi Ying remembered too many beast name, he simply address himself as ’Giant mammoth’ or ’White mammoth’
"Alright White mammoth. When you transform, you will be worn by Jiu Wei" Li Shi Ying nodded herself as she told the mammoth to move aside.
Next was a silver wolf who could transform into a silver male hairclip. He also introduced himself ’I am silver wolf. Transformation form is silver male hairclip. Special ability is speed"
After silver wolf, a horse came forward "I am camuflage horse. Transformation form is black ring. Special ability i can change my skin colour as i wish"
Li Shi Ying really need a horse as her mount and when she found this camuflage horse who can change his skin color as he wish, she was excited.
Li Shi Ying nodded her head happily and told the horse that he will stay with Jiu Wei as Li Shi Ying didn’t like to wear a ring.
The fourth one was a small cute green turtle. It looked so much similar with a turtle statue Li Shi Ying dad had in home! The turtle was timid and he said in a faint voice "I-i am jade turtle...tools...jade pendant...ability healing minor injuries"
Li Shi Ying was also satisfied with jade turtle ability. It was also a rare healing ability! Okay this one too will be worn by Jiu Wei because a jade pendant...it was usually worn by male.
The next spiritual beast was a beautiful blue peacock. Seemed like this one was a female. "I am blue peacock, transformation form is blue fan. Ability...hypnotic"
The peacock could turn into an elegant blue fan which was usually hold by a noble young master. So Li Shi Ying assign her to Jiu Wei side.
