After New Year’s Day was the Spring Festival.
To Qiao Mu, last year’s Spring Festival was the most meaningful year. It was her first time spending the New Year at the Li family’s residence and her first time enjoying the taste of a family reunion during the Spring Festival.
This year, it was her and Li Yan’s Spring Festival.
Although she was overseas, Qiao Mu still meticulously prepared for the new year.
Li Yan gave all the servants and chefs in the house a holiday during the few days of the new year. Although there were no holidays in United States, Qiao Mu hoped to celebrate the new year with just one or two people. Even the cooking would be done by the two of them.
Qiao Mu prepared all the ingredients in advance and started work in the afternoon, preparing to make dumplings with Li Yan.

Li Yan was helpless. He was not interested in such troublesome matters at all. However, when he saw how excited the little woman was, he could only take over.
Qiao Mu felt much more relaxed after the division of labor. She happily went to the vegetable garden to pick vegetables, minced the meat, and stirred all the ingredients together. She added some oil, salt, sauce, and vinegar, and it was done.

In the afternoon, Qiao Mu urged Li Yan to start kneading the dough early in the morning. She placed the flour and water there and then stood by the side to watch in delight.
Li Yan saw through Qiao Mu’s thoughts at a glance and asked with raised brows, “”Do you want me to do well or not? If I don’t do it well, tonight’s New Year’s Eve dinner will be ruined.”
“You dare to do it badly!” Qiao Mu urged, ” Hurry up and do it! ”
Qiao Mu stared at Li Yan’s slender fingers. She often saw his hands typing on the keyboard in a flamboyant manner or signing documents with a fountain pen. She had never seen his hands covered in flour, and just thinking about it made her feel extremely sexy.
Although Li Yan had cooked for her before, he had never made a mess of himself. Now, she was especially looking forward to this scene, and then she would take the opportunity to mock him.
However, she saw Li Yan find a pair of gloves and was about to put them on.
She snatched it over and said, ” It’s inconvenient to wear gloves and noodles. You can just touch the flour directly. I don’t mind you. ”
Li Yan did not insist. He took a cup of water and poured it into the flour. Then, just as Qiao Mu thought he was going to put his hand into the flour, he picked up his chopsticks and started stirring the flour.
