A hint of embarrassment crossed Qiao Xuan’s face as she sat up slowly with her hands. Xie Jingrong instinctively reached out to assist but hesitated and withdrew his hands.

Xie Jingrong responded with a gentle smile, his eyes reflecting kindness. “Don’t worry, I will ensure you reach Yanzhou City safely.”
