Chapter 220 - The Disgusting Hooligan (恶心的臭流氓)
The Disgusting Hooligan (恶心的臭流氓)
Jing Yun Zhao’s entire face was pink as she carefully kept the love letter. Her series of actions felt wrong to the slow-minded Su Chu.
Being the simple-minded person she was, Su Chu was not as quick on the uptake as Xiao Hai Qing nor did she understand Jing Yun Zhao’s hidden meaning as fast as Xiao Hai Qing. She watched Xiao Hai Qing and Jing Yun Zhao’s weird play and, at the same time, saw her cousin Gan Jin Chen’s indifferent attitude; it turned her senseless for a while.
How could Biao-Jie love someone who would write such a disgusting love letter? It can’t be true!
Even after a few periods of class, Su Chu was still worried. She waited until Jing Yun Zhao left before she slowly approached Xiao Hai Qing. Pulling on her arm, she started to sell some cuteness, “Xiao Hai Qing, Biao-jie surely wouldn’t like that disgusting person right?”
Xiao Hai Qing let loose a snort in laughter. Su Chu really was too silly.
Furthermore this Gan Jin Chen, with his intelligence, surely would have already deduced Jing Yun Zhao’s intentions, but he still didn’t explain it to Su Chu. He obviously wanted to tease her!
However, seeing Su Chu’s worried and pouting face, Xiao Hai Qing also wanted to mess with her for a little bit. With shining eyes, she abandoned her restraint and shrugged helplessly, ”Sigh, I’m also helpless. Who asked Yun Zhao to fall in love with that scoundrel? You don’t know it, but just now when we were having class, Yun Zhao was so out of it and was daydreaming throughout the whole class. If it wasn’t for me, she definitely wouldn’t have been able to answer Teacher Qi’s questions…”
Xiao Hai Qing kept bullshitting. The more she said, the more alarmed Su Chu became.
In Su Chu’s brain floated two large words: We’re doomed!1
She knew that her family’s Biao-jie was very stubborn. Her temper was also both tough and extreme. If she chose someone to love, no one could stop her. What if Biao-jie gets thoroughly eaten by that smelly hooligan?
Su Chu herself had also received innumerable love letters, but the ones she received were different compared to the one Jing Yun Zhao got. The ones she received were very proper and simple, never would they give her such a sense of repulsion and disgust.
At that moment, Su Chu’s face was deathly pale. When Jing Yun Zhao came back, a pair of eyes akin to an abandoned and pitiful kitten was looking at her, hoping that Jing Yun Zhao would tell her that Xiao Hai Qing and Gan Jin Chen were just messing with her.2
But under the persistence and begging of her two bad friends, Jing Yun Zhao didn’t clear things up with Su Chu. However, she had to say, seeing Su Chu’s worried expression made her feel warm and loved. This type of mischief between friends can really bring joy to people.
It lasted for three days.
During that time, Jing Yun Zhao’s desk drawer would constantly be filled with snacks and love letters with each one being more disgusting and obscene than before.
Unfortunately for Jing Yun Zhao, she had to act every time she received the breakfast, acting out a full play of her not willing to eat it, and of her carefully keeping the received food in a container.
At last, on the fourth day, the love letter Jing Yun Zhao had a signature in it.
Looking at the signature, the corners of Jing Yun Zhao’s mouth curved up, and she chuckled lightly.
Looks like the disgusting letters she received for the past few days were from “him”! It was really unexpected!
Xiao Hai Qing was more emotional towards this matter compared to Jing Yun Zhao. Once she saw who it was from, she immediately erupted! If it wasn’t for Jing Yun Zhao stopping her, she would’ve instantly given “him” a good beating.
“I’ll do it myself.” Jing Yun Zhao said faintly, causing people near her to feel an inexplicable chill.
God knows how nauseated she was for the past few days because of the act she had to put on. Because of the unrestrained desire in the letters, she would always lose her appetite. Moreover, if she didn’t regularly use her hands and feet to vent her anger these days, she would feel demotivated and dejected. Now that someone offered himself up for a beating, if she didn’t take up his offer, then what would her suffering for these past few days amount to?
Early in the morning, Jing Yun Zhao’s face was colder than the coldest winter. Keeping the received love letter as usual, she took a well-sized textbook and stood up, turned her body to the back of the classroom, and started walking.
