Chapter 48 Solar Flare
Haru and Shikamaru ran toward the direction of Gaara who had become Ichibi and Naruto also summoned a large frog. Both of them nodded at each other and started to run faster.
Haru couldn't use chakra and couldn't jump from tree to tree. He ran on the ground but his speed was fast.
"You're really not a ninja?" Shikamaru looked at him weirdly since he ran on the ground.
"I'm not," Haru said.
"Sigh, how troublesome," Shikamaru said.
"Don't say that a blond haired kid on top of a frog will be able to solve this problem," Haru said.
Shikamaru nodded, "Yes, that's true."
They ran toward the direction of the fight until they found Temari.
"You're?" Temari was a bit shocked looking at both of them. She had known the pineapple head since he was her match before. She also knew Haru since it was hard not to look at a handsome young man. She also noticed his skill with medical jutsu that could heal anything in an instant.
"Are you an enemy?" Haru asked.
Shikamaru was also readying his shadow jutsu to trap her.
"N - no, please, listen to me, I - I just want my brother to come back," Temari said nervously. She couldn't beat two of them alone. She also couldn't find her other brother. She was very angry at Orochimaru who had killed her father for his own desire. She only wanted to go back to her own village right now.
Shikamaru and Haru looked at each other and nodded. Neither of them really thought that this girl was their enemy.
"Good, don't move carelessly or else, we will attack you together," Shikamaru said.
Temari nodded in response.
"Do you know how to stop your brother?" Haru asked.
Temari shook her head, "I don't know....." She had never seen him in this form and she wasn't sure what to do in this situation.
Haru knew that the main character would be able to do something. He looked around and saw Sakura Haruno, one of the heroines was trapped in the sand jutsu and fainted. He ran toward that direction and jumped trying to help her.
"Who are you?"
Haru saw a boy who was breathing tiredly while holding his kunai.
"Sasuke, don't! He is a friend!" Shikamaru came toward him.
"Shikamaru?" Sasuke sighed in relief.
"Let me heal you," Haru said.
Sasuke looked at Shikamaru and nodded at him. His body was full of wounds since he had been fighting with Gaara earlier.
Haru started to heal him and saw his wounds started to heal slowly.
Sasuke was still tired but his body felt better since he didn't feel pain anymore. He nodded and said in a low voice, "Thank you."
Shikamaru smirked when he heard him say thank you to him.
"Don't worry, let me try to let her out," Haru said.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
The three of them almost lost their balance when the Giants were fighting each other. They saw the fight between Naruto and Gaara had entered the climax.
Haru shook his head and thought that he was too weak to enter this kind of battle right now. He looked at Sakura and used his flat magic to make the tree become flat.
Shikamaru and Sasuke were shocked when they saw the tree became flat. Both of them looked at him with strange eyes since they had never seen this kind of jutsu.
Haru caught her and carried her in his arms. He started to heal her slowly while looking at the battle. He knew that the fight would be done soon.
"What is that jutsu?" Shikamaru asked.
"Well, it's some sort of family bloodline," Haru answered.
"Hmmm," Sasuke looked at him and nodded. He understood there were a lot of ninjas that had a strange bloodline that enabled them to use strange power.
Sakura opened her eyes slowly and saw someone who she didn't expect.
"Are you an awake princess?" Haru teased.
Sakura nodded unconsciously while there was a tin of blush on her cheeks.
"Your prince is fighting against a monster, you should cheer him up," Haru said.
"Prince?" Sakura looked at the battle and saw the fight between Naruto and Gaara. She became worried at him since she knew how powerful Gaara was.
"Don't worry, he will win," Haru said.
Sakura nodded at him and wasn't sure why she felt comfortable. She thought that there was some stranger that made you comfortable in even though it was their first time to meet each other.
The fight between Gaara and Naruto became very intense.
Haru knew this fight would end soon since he believed in the protagonist's power only there was some intruder in this battle. He heard a loud sound coming from the right side.
Shikamaru, Sasuke, Temari, and Sakura also heard this sound and turned their heads.
They saw Orochimaru running toward them while both Jiraiya and Sarutobi were following them.
"Damn," Shikamaru knew that the situation was really bad.
Everyone's expression also became dignified when they saw the planner of this war coming toward them. They knew something bad would happen but they were helpless to stop him.
Haru took a deep breath and asked, "Shikamaru, is it possible to use your shadow jutsu to stop him for a few seconds?"
Shikamaru wasn't sure why he asked this question but he nodded with confidence, "I can do it."
Haru nodded, "I'll give you a chance, you need to stop his movement."
Shikamaru looked at him unsurely, "Can you do it?"
Haru nodded and took sunglasses from his pocket, "Use this, also three of you should hide behind a tree or something."
Shikamaru was a bit weird but he still wore his sunglasses.
Sasuke, Temari, and Sakura hid behind a tree and wasn't sure what he would do.
"You should be in front of me since it'll be bad for you to be blinded by this skill," Haru said.
"What do you mean?" Shikamaru asked.
"Don't ask a question, he is coming, I'll count in three," Haru said.
Shikamaru became dignified and followed his order.
"1."
"2."
"3."
Haru saw Orochimaru was running toward them and he shouted, "SOLAR FLARE!!!"
At that moment, everything was blinded by this white light.
