“Robbery. Have you heard of it? We’re robbing you!” Mr. Cross-Eyed had never met such a simpleton and thus decided to explain.

Mr Cock-Eye’s arrival was really timely. They hadn’t found anyone to spar and having to hold things in had been quite a torture. To have only just arrived at Qianzhong Ridge and encounter this group of robbers was akin to have their goods delivered right to their doorstep! Lan Xinyu rubbed her hands together. She was so excited that her face started to blush. All she needed was for Ling Chuxi to say the words.

“So it’s a robbery. You should have said so earlier. Why don’t you just put in on a banner or come up with a more apt slogan? I thought you were here to visit your relatives.” said Ling Chuxi with a smile. She was not in a hurry to make a move.

“Slogan? What slogan?” The teased Mr Cross-Eyed looked at Ling Chuxi in anger.

“How about this: I oversee this mountain and planted these trees. If you want to pass, you’ll have to pay the toll fare. Robbery is also a skill. Look, if you don’t give yourself a reason to rob people, then you won’t have the right confidence. And if you don’t have that confidence, you won’t be able to intimidate your victims. And if your victims aren’t intimidated, then they won’t let you rob them, would they?” Ling Chuxi advised. Aren’t these bandits too unprofessional?

“Who said it’s just us? Brothers, come out.” Mr Cross-Eyed whistled, and from afar came the sound of anxious footsteps. 20 to 30 people came running over with torches in their hands. However, all of them were in ragged clothes and looked like they were not doing well.

“See? We have a lot of people. Hand over all your valuables and I’ll let you live,” said Mr Cross-Eyed proudly.

Lan Xinyu became even more excited. The more the merrier, or she wouldn’t feel satisfied otherwise.

“But, do we look like we have valuables?” said Ling Chuxi awkwardly.
