Yun Bixue sat down on the sofa with the help of Xie Limo. “I know that they are doing a good job of taking care of me.”

“Okay.” Although she was talking to Xie Limo, her mind wasn’t with him as she was thinking about her conversation with Miao Zifu.

Xie Limo looked up and noticed the glazed over look in her eyes. He asked, “There’s something off with you today. Is something the matter?”

Yun Bixue nodded. She had some worrying things that were troubling her after all.

Xie Limo pinched her nose. “You didn’t take the initiative to tell me and even waited for me to ask you.”

Yun Bixue pouted. “I knew you would definitely realize, so the result was going to be the same anyway.”

“It’s the same?”

A glint flashed across Yun Bixue’s eyes. “Actually if I told you only after you asked, it shows that you care about me.”

“Do I not care about you normally?”

“You do! I just wanted you to continue to care about me.”

Xie Limo pulled her over and pecked her on the forehead lightly, like a dragonfly touching the water. Nowadays, he always had to control himself. If they engaged in a deep kiss, there was a high chance that he wouldn’t be able to hold himself back and end up igniting both of them on fire.

But caring for her health was more important than his needs right now.

The doctor advised before that her constitution wasn’t great, so she would tire easily. She shouldn’t go through too much, or she might be in danger.

He couldn’t afford to risk it, so he could only try not to let her worry and go through the ten months peacefully.

It was already September. November was the expected month of birth. It was drawing close, and he was getting more and more anxious as well.

All he knew was that it was incredibly difficult for women to give birth. He looked forward to that day, but he was nervous as well.
