Seeing that Huang Yize just continued driving while shaking his head, Yun Bilu pouted and said, “You’re just laughing at me.”
“I’m not laughing at you. I’m listening to what you’re saying.”
Hearing Huang Yize’s reply, Yun Bilu became bubbly again. Her eyes shone as she stared at Huang Yize. “Quick, give me a clue.”
“Sit properly.”
Despite Yun Bilu’s chatter, Huang Yize did not reveal anything. She continued talking to herself like this in the car and was evidently excited.
Actually, as long as she was with Huang Yize, she would always feel happy and excited.
Just when they were about to reach their destination, Yun Bilu heard someone calling for help to catch a thief.
Hearing that, the smile on Yun Bilu’s face faded. The righteous spirit in her swelled as she grabbed Huang Yize’s steering wheel and said anxiously, “Stop the car! Stop!”
Huang Yize immediately stepped on the brakes. Without a word, Yun Bilu opened the car door with utmost seriousness and hurriedly stepped out.
The moment she got out of the car, Yun Bilu started running madly.
In the distance, there was an old lady who kept screaming for help to catch a thief.
Yun Bilu ran over to that old lady and said, “Grandma, I’ll help you catch the thief. Don’t panic!”
Once she said that, Yun Bilu ran even faster. She felt a surge of adrenaline and righteousness in her, which motivated her to run faster.
Meanwhile, Huang Yize was still in the car, watching his girl running off into the distance with a stunned expression.
Once he recovered from the shock, he immediately turned the car around and drove off to find her.
Yun Bilu’s eyes were sparkling. She was unusually excited and ran very fast too.
As Yun Bilu ran, she even shouted excitedly from behind the thief, “Hey, thief! Stop right there! No matter how far you run, I will still catch you…”
However, no matter what she said, the thief just kept running. He started off fast, but eventually, his pace slowed down as his breathing got heavier.
Yun Bilu continued shouting as she ran. Her eyes twinkled with delight, and she was running faster and faster now. There was no sign of tiredness in her.
While she was chasing after the thief, she was reminded of the times when she fought with other people when she was young. She would be able to catch whoever bullied her, even if they ran. Since then, she had been adept at both fighting and running.
Out of her need to protect herself, she had unknowingly trained herself for these kinds of situations.
After running across a few streets, the thief finally turned into a small alley and stopped. The thief was a young man who was dressed in trendy clothes. He rested against the wall for support as he panted heavily.
Seeing how Bilu ran over excitedly, a few thousand ‘what the f*cks’ flew across his mind.
He had really met an ace today. He panted heavily as he spoke, “You’re just a girl. How can you run so fast?”
Yun Bilu placed her hands on her hips as she said, “Of course I can run fast when I’m doing a righteous act.”
This was the first time that the thief met someone like this. His mouth could only twitch as he almost spat out blood. He had no tears left to cry. He met an abnormal person today.
He threw the bag he stole to Yun Bilu and said, “You can take this. I won’t steal again anymore.”
What he meant was that he did not want Yun Bilu to catch him.
However, Yun Bilu felt a little bored these few days. It was not easy for her to catch someone like this, so naturally, she did not want to let him off so easily. She even wanted to use him to practice her martial arts!
