The Primordial Dragon Sanctuary’s pseudo-apex powers had initially been willing to partner with Zero Wing only out of respect for and fear of Dragon’s Crown, a suspected hidden apex power. “Is he crazy?” Apocalypse was stunned.
Apocalypse did not doubt that Shi Feng had the Undying Souls to redeem the Flame God Set. After all, Shi Feng had already shown himself capable of obtaining many Undying Souls within a short period when he previously redeemed the Access Key and Empress’s Scales. Hence, Apocalypse didn’t find his having collected enough Undying Souls to redeem the Flame God Set strange.

He has no idea that there are existences that even apex powers fear in this world.”
“Should we intervene?” Apocalypse asked when he saw Tarnished Wind’s forces encircling Shi Feng.
Since the threat of Dragon’s Crown was no longer a concern, Tarnished Wind would not hesitate to attack Shi Feng. With the Crimson Dragon Legion mobilized, only Holy Dragon Spear had the forces necessary to get Shi Feng out of this situation.
As Zero Wing and Holy Dragon Spear were formerly partners and Shi Feng was someone Red Frost thought highly of, Apocalypse naturally couldn’t stand by and watch as Tarnished Wind killed him.
“Of course, but not immediately,” South Lake said, shaking his head. Then, while looking at Shi Feng, he continued, “We might be able to save him this time, but we can’t save him all the time. He needs to experience some suffering and learn that pseudo-apex powers aren’t easy opponents.”
“You’re right.” Apocalypse nodded in agreement. He similarly felt that Shi Feng needed to experience defeat. Otherwise, Shi Feng might fall under the illusion that there were no powerhouses in the Greater God’s Domain and that he could do whatever he wanted so long as he had Dragon’s Crown’s backing.
Apocalypse was familiar with the name of Black Flame. As the sixth-ranked expert on the updated Divine Glory List, Shi Feng could be considered an apex expert. Under normal circumstances, the various pseudo-apex powers would try to avoid antagonizing him, even more so if they knew of his backing.

“It’s true! You really did redeem the Flame God Set!” exclaimed Tarnished Wind, who was Level 241, as he stared at the Flame God Set under Shi Feng’s Black Cloak. As if the Black Cloak was fake, it could not hide any secrets from him. Then, he demanded, “Guild Leader Black Flame, hand over the Flame God Set, and I will promise you safe passage out of the secret land! Otherwise, I will have you disappear from God’s Domain, even if you have the Flame God Set equipped!”
“Commander Wind, are you so confident you can defeat me?” Shi Feng looked at Tarnished Wind in surprise.
In his previous life, the Flame God Set was regarded as one of the Six Great Divine Sets of the human race’s Greater God’s Domain. Although the players of this timeline had yet to witness its might, some of its information could still be found in the Grand Library. According to the Grand Library’s records, the Flame God Set could grant its wearer strength to rival Primordial Gods.

“This move is quite powerful,” Shi Feng commented, marveling at Tarnished Wind’s attack. Then, he unsheathed the Shadow Incinerator and continued, “But it’s still not enough to defeat me!”
