Chi Shuyan didn’t want to talk about Qi Zhenbai with Brother Feng, so she interrupted him and said that she had something on and had to leave first. She would come back to the hospital tomorrow and the day after. If anything happened to Feng Yuancen in the meantime, Brother Feng could contact her immediately.

Honestly speaking, ever since Feng Yuanlin found out how his cousin had a death wish, he really wouldn’t have interfered in that kid’s business if that kid wasn’t related to him by blood.

He also had a lot of questions to ask Shuyan, but after thinking about it, he really couldn’t care less about the couple’s private affairs. He could only hang up first and prepare to see how Zhenbai was doing!

Chi Shuyan really took Brother Feng’s words to heart and felt that he made a lot of sense. She really didn’t plan to play some sort of love game with Qi Zhenbai. She just felt that their personalities didn’t match, and she wasn’t in the mood to fall in love anymore.

Your words of comfort are superb. Don’t worry, I’m still busy with official business at the moment and don’t have time to play some ‘tragic romance’ melodrama!”

After a pause, Chi Shuyan continued, “But as for me and Qi Zhenbai, we did have a conflict recently. It’s quite complicated!” Chi Shuyan wanted to tell Brother Feng that their personalities weren’t compatible, but tonight wasn’t the time to talk about this. Ten minutes later, Chi Shuyan met Zhen Yu at a teahouse across the street from the university. When Chi Shuyan went upstairs, Zhen Yu was already waiting by the window on the second floor. This teahouse had always been less busy, and there were even fewer customers now.
