My Secretary is a Little Sweet

Jing Yichen suddenly let out a low pitched laugh, hearing these words.

His laugh gave out a powerful confidence,arrogance and a kind of compressed rage that crept Black Knife out.

Jing Yichen hung up the phone after these words and made another call right after that.

“The sooner, the better. I will give you more detailed clues tomorrow. I will wait for your message.” Jiang Yichen said, not paying much attention to Zheng Jing’s unimportant words.

Jing Yichen didn’t stop until he made several other calls in a row, at home and abroad.

Jing Yichen’s heart filled with resentment, thinking of the scenario if Black Wind wasn’t caught.

The realtor also noticed that Shangguan Ning was under the weather. So she asked in concerned, “Are you feeling unwell, Ms. Shangguan? You look so pale? What about meeting another day instead of today?”

Shangguan Ning forced a smile on her pale face. She spoke with her teeth clenched, “Thank you. I am okay. Let’s just get it done today. That model apartment you talked about seems to suit me well.”

Hearing that an apartment might be sold today, the realtor immediately went to help her. “Okay, just hold on, it is not very far. ”

Shangguan Ning took a glance at the model apartment when they finally arrived there and said instantly. “Okay, this one will do.”

The man guarding by her side asked concernedly seeing her waking up. “Ning, you are awake now? Still hurt anywhere?”

Only at that moment did Shangguan Ning notice that someone was sitting by her bedside. Her eyes widened in surprise. “Uncle!?” – She said, as she tried to sit up and speak with him, but the wound on the back of her head, stung .

Huang Lihan pressed her down and said in an accusing tone, “Just lie down. I am your uncle, your family. No need to be so courteous.”

Shangguan Ning paused, and the pain reduced. Then she smiled. “I was not… I was just acting subconsciously.”

“Tell me if it hurts anywhere else. I will get the doctor here. I was so scared on the way here How did you injure your head?” Huang Liyan felt his heart ache at the sight of this beautiful niece whose face was pale and looked thinner than she had been, a month ago.

“I tripped. It is okay. Don’t worry, I will be fine soon!” Shangguan Ning lied without even blinking. If she spoke the truth, Uncle would definitely kill Guo Shuai.

“But, why am I at the hospital? I was just checking…”

“Aunt didn’t come to me. I wanted to move out myself. It has nothing to do with Aunt.” Shangguan Ning said in a low voice. “I want to leave the apartment to Cousin. She has always been fond of a compound with good scenery. That apartment suits her well.”
