3205 Alone
The soul sense of Sovereign washed over me while I remained frozen on my spot.
I did not have to freeze like that; if the formation is working as it is supposed to, it will make no difference, even if I dance inside.
As long as my aura is contained, I will be fine.
The first soul sense had enveloped me when another came. Making me curse in my heart. The formation is very good, but its effects will be reduced if more soul senses are joined.
I watched with bated breath, hoping the soul senses would move away from me, but they did not.
The first soul sense had stayed for a whopping forty-one seconds before it moved, while the second stayed for fifty-two seconds.
Even with that, I did not heave a sigh of relief as they have not stopped searching. Their soul sense would come at me and there are also Primary-III’s which are on the move to search me.
This place is well hidden and with the formation, they will find nothing unless they entered inside.
Still, I couldn’t help but feel scared. Once found out, I will have a very bad time with them; they might even kill me. Nothing could be said, seeing how angry they are by the disturbance I caused.
I still have questions about why they were being cautious. Like what they had done, if they had come with power blazing, we would have surrendered.
There was no need to be sneaky.
While they are searching for me, some Primary-III’s who had left behind are putting sealing collars on the head of captured surrendered people. Many wanted to resist, but seeing sovereigns in the sky, they did not.
Soon, they collared all of them.

At the same time, the Primary-III’s are searching for every nook and cranny, especially near my abode. Many times, they have come too close to me, coming closer than five meters.
A little more than ten minutes passed, and they are still searching, but I could tell they are turning impatient.
“Let’s go!” said the leading Sovereign, and he flew away. The other two sovereigns and Primary IIIs followed behind, with captives.
I watched them leave with abducted people. If Nero hadn’t warned me, I would have, I would have been one of them.
‘Father, don’t come out. One Sovereign is hiding,’ warned Nero, as they disappeared from my eyes.
“I am not leaving anywhere,” I said and sat down more comfortably. I did not go to my core. The Sovereign is still there and till he is present; I want to be as alert as possible.
Time passed as I wait for Nero’s directions. He is keeping an eye on Sovereign. but not using any of his abilities.
Unlike before, the Sovereign is alone and more alert. His using abilities might alert him.
‘Father, he is leaving,’ said Nero and I heaved a sigh of relief and laid down. My whole body is covered in sweat. Every second, I feared the Sovereign might find me and it will be game over.
Thankfully, it is over; the Sovereign had left.
While he might have left, I have no interest in leaving just yet. He could come back or sent more people; I cannot take any risk. I will be staying here till I am sure.
This time, I closed my eyes and went inside my core. I worked there till it was dawn before opening my eyes.
I was right. The Sovereign had come back, not once, but twice.
I got up and took the formation inside me, before moving out of the hiding spot after making some preparations.
The last time a Sovereign came was three hours ago, and he might come again, but it is the risk I have to take. I am dangerous area and do not have the luxury to wait for days.
The sooner I leave the place; the better it will be.
As I got out of the hiding spot, I moved fast with the help of Nero. He makes travel easy, scouting all the dangers of people and Monsters.
There are people who are monsters in our area as ours was not the only group travelling up here. There are other groups who travel to or from the Haln, not to mention the adventurers searching the resources.
I don’t know if any other group than ours was picked up by those abductors.
Seeing how they had worked; I won’t be finding any proof. Even if they had abducted another group.
Ven had said there was something strange going on in the Haln City. It might be related to this, or it might be something else; I don’t know, but it is making me have second thoughts about going to Haln City.
I pushed those thoughts away; Haln City has what I need, and I will be going there.
A changing destination would waste my time, and I did not have much time to waste. I want to make progress, and that place will help me with that.
A few hours passed, and I have avoided tens of monsters and people, including Sovereigns. They were not sovereigns that were searching for me, but it is better I avoid them.
Seeing me might pique their interest.
As Primary III does not travel alone in a dangerous place like this; they were always in a group.
‘Father, there was a group here, and they also got abducted,’ said Nero suddenly. I quickly walked toward the place and saw the signs that he was showing me.
“You are right,” I said.
They have hidden the signs well, but they could not hide them from someone like Nero. He has abilities that catch, even the faintest signatures, something even I couldn’t do.
It made me want to go back to the Celub, but like being crazy, I moved ahead.
