2982 Killing Blood Videttes
The running away had stopped; the Grimms understood the futility of it. There is no escape.
If they ran, the two monsters would catch them before they could even cross into the safe space and teleport, and the two monsters only needed a single attack to finish them off.
There is one who had teleported through the broken space; whether it succeeded or not, no one could tell.
Though it is quite regretful, the bastard had the bloodline.
So, now they are fighting, fighting with their life on the line, holding back nothing, burning their core and bloodline.
I am still entertaining these good gentlemen; I have no intention of killing them. At least till all the Grimms are killed, the normal Grimms, not videttes.
Not to mention, it is fun fighting them, especially the Pigeonman; the bastard is still harnessing the power from above-the-limit, growing quite powerful that, if I did not have contingencies in place, I would fear it getting away.
“Having fun, right? Harnessing more power with each breath; is exciting, isn’t it?” I asked with a smile; it froze that laugh before it returned to its face, but I could still see the spark of fear in its eyes.
“Yes, I am having fun, my strength is increasing, and soon, it will increase enough; I will kill you with it.” It said, looking at me with blazing killing intent.
“How cute!” I said back, making a face, which brought a seething fury in its eyes, but it controlled and channelled it all in harnessing even more power.
I am very happy seeing to do that; as I had said, the more it will harness, the more data it will give me, and I need this data. It is through this way I will be able to find a way to deal with that enemy.
Another minute and a few seconds had passed, and when another Grimms popped in front of me with a huge hole in its heart.
It is a thirty-second Grimm, and I took it inside my core while the human it is fighting against has moved to aid another human.
There are now more humans than the Grimms and killing them fast; it won’t be long before all the bastards die, other than the videttes.
I had just thought that when another one was killed, this one by my dearest friend Elina.
She had burned the bastard, pouring a fire inside it through her sword; if it were not for my seed, it would have burned even its core.
I took it inside me, and there was a small smile; it had a bloodline, a powerful one. Its harvest going to help me a lot.
The fight with Pigeonman is exciting, I hope the other two would have also given me the same excitement, but all they are doing is taking a beating.
Still, despite all that, they did not run away; likely, they were confident since my weapons couldn’t hurt them, I wouldn’t be able to kill them any other way, and I truly wished I could prove them wrong.
I could, but that might spook the Pigeonman, and this is why they are even alive, not getting feasted by the mysterious tree.
Another Grimm appeared and went inside a few seconds later, and then another. The last one had tried to run away, and Nero swallowed it up before sending me to it.
Seeing their condition, some still try to run away no and; thinking they might be lucky enough to escape.
I wish I could tell how futile their attempts are, there is no escape other than death, and some Grimms seemed to understand that as they went bat-shit crazy.
Such craze attacks would have done huge damage if they had launched them when they had huge numbers. Here, we humans have a greater number than them; no matter how crazy they go, they will not be able to do anything against me.
In the next minutes, four more came, and I took them to my core.
The Piegeonman and the other two blood videttes became serious; they seemed to understand that final moment coming.
All three have become cautious and created a sensory field around them by merging their soul senses.
Hun!
Which kind of a surprise that such an effortless merging of soul sense could happen after years of practice; here they are doing it with less than a day of practice.
It is the vidette attribute that aids them.
I did not change my fighting style other than continuing to press Piegeonman little by little, always keeping it on the knife’s edge.
Time passed as one Grimm after another came at me and entered my core, till finally, the last one came and killed none other than the professor.
With this, Grimm, Ashlyn, and Nero had also come back; it is a little risky to bring them back, given how one of the videttes might try to run. Those fighting them are very capable people; they will not let them run away.
Now, only Rhaek and seven videttes have remained on the battlefield.
Hun!
A second after the last, Grimms and my monsters disappeared in me; the three Blood Videttes took the step they had been preparing for quite a while.
Their auras exploded; they had been hiding some power; while strength the two bloodiest minors, the Pigeonman was the one who was truly hiding something; seeing it, a bright smile couldn’t but appear on my face.
“You have really not disappointed me, little Pigeon,” I said, and my sword appeared in my hand.
“So, shall we?” I asked as I motioned; three of them looked at each other before turning to me.
“Die Zaar!”
All three of them screamed in unison and came at me; I did not move, but my vines moved, only two of them, targeting the other two blood videttes behind the Pigeonman.
Puch Puch
They came, but halfway through it, a faint sound rang out, and to the shock of two Blood Videttes, they saw two spears piercing through their chests.
Earlier, I was barely able to make a scratch on their chests, and now I have pierced my spears inside them.
It was not easy as it looked, and the raw strength could not do it; I had some different ways to achieve that, but it was worth it.
The Piegeonman saw what happened, but it did stop it; instead, its aura roared as it came at me with burning fury in its eyes.
“You have shown your power; it would be bad if I did not show mine,” I said, and I released my aura. Unlike its aura, which broke the space like a mirror, mine just created a faint ripple across the space.
I moved toward him; I moved like I was walking, but in just three steps, I appeared in front of it.
“Die!” It swung its sword.
I smiled seeing that, and to utter horror of the Pigeonman, I took another step and directly appeared in front of its chest and moved my sword toward it, like I was going to poke it.
It tried to move and bring its blade to defend, but it was too slow.

Puch!
My sword effortlessly pierced through its chest like it was butter before stopping at hair breath’s distance away from its core.
