2941 First in Millenniums
I appeared directly in the infirmary, with Lady May already lying on the bed; she was not the only one; a couple of Grand Lords were laying on the bed injured and in pain.
Including that bastard Carmichael, who is a couple of rooms away; he is one of the most injured Grand Lords, and if it is not for Silas Bishop, he wouldn’t have been able to survive the battle.
Now, he is healing his injuries, and I have to say, I am quite surprised at the speed at which he is doing that. It is really something; if he kept healing at such speed, it wouldn’t take him long to heal his injuries fully.
“Let’s get this hand of yours attached,” I said to Lady May and took her hand, which had been covered in energy.
She could have attached it herself, nearly all inheritance has methods to attach the cut body parts, but it is better for the healer to do this job.
Thousands of strings came out of me and pierced the hands before coming out of it and piercing her shoulder, and soon, thousands of strings connected both parts of my body and now, coming closer and closer.
“Lady May, you can activate the method when your hand connects to the shoulder,” I said to her.
The inheritance had imprinted in her body, and it better, she uses the method in her inheritance, while my strings and I will fix the flaws there are, making her hand good as perfect.
Though she will have psychological damage, I couldn’t help with that. She will have taken help from the psychologist.
Buzz!
As both parts connected, she activated her method, and my strings began to fix the flaws that might remain; within seven minutes, the hand was perfectly connected, and I have activated formation in my core and mixed my own energy in it before sending it into the wound.
The formation I have used contains the life-source crystals from my newest tree, and when I used it with other resources and my own healing energy, the result I got was shocking.
The hand would have needed at least six hours to heal completely till she could use it in the battle, but now it will take around an hour.
This is what a life force could do, and if the old snake what happened to the seed it had given me, it would scream loudly while pulling out its scales in rage.
“I feel like I could use my hand in battle right now,” said Lady May as she moved her fingers. “No, you shouldn’t do any heavy fighting for at least an hour,” I advised, to which she nodded.
“Thank you, Lord Zaar,” she said as she got up; I nodded and moved to other patients.
Their injuries are not as serious as Lady May, but it is important that they are healing, as they might need to join the battle at any moment possible.
Finally, I have reached my last patient, who is smiling at me, “You have done quite a lot of things since you have returned; a kill of five Grand Lords will make even her excellency proud,” said Professor. She had returned, and she was a Grand Lord.
“Six Grand Lords, and if you count two killed by Ashlyn, then there are eight,” I replied, and a small surprise couldn’t help but appear on her face before it turned into a smile.
The smile only lasted for a couple of seconds before her expression turned serious.
“Be careful; the Grimms have many cards they haven’t used yet,” she cautioned, “I know,” I said as I pierced my strings inside her.
There is something very weird going on inside her, something I have never seen before. It took me a while to understand what it was, and it had finally cleared up some confusion I had about her ever since I had seen her fight.
She is a true Grand Lord, but she does not have the power she should have when she reaches the Grand Lord class.
She had a bloodline powerful as Rai and her niece; the only bloodline that could be above it is of Ellen’s.
Not to mention, she had created a core even before reaching Master class; with all these elements, her strength would have been far greater.
Even Rai and Supreme Commander, who are only High-Grandmaster, possess greater strength than her.
It confused me when I saw her fight; even the seed I planted in her did not give me a clear answer till I carefully studied the data and performed a few tests with the strings I had planted inside her.

It turned out her power was sealed, and why was it sealed? The reason is simple; she was unsuitable for her bloodline
Bloodline is usually suited for everybody, even those who are not suited; bloodline changed them, but the condition of the Professor was extreme that even bloodline couldn’t do much against it and was a constant clash, that it burned professors life force whenever she used her bloodline power more than 50%.
It all changed when I gave her that hair, but even still, her constitution remained changed; things improved after her creating the core, but still slow.
Now she had leveled up to the Grand Lord; her bloodline had got enough power that it was now forcefully converting her body to suit its need, and the process was fast.
It is why the majority of her strength is sealed, but it is releasing slowly as her body changes and gets attuned to her bloodline.
It is happening fast, but it will still take her about a year before she will be able to harness her power; with the current condition, that is quite a long time.
I will find a way to speed up that process, and I already have a good idea.
Buzz!
I was just finished healing the damage she had suffered when our holo-watch buzzed. “They are asking us to come for a meeting,” I informed.
“Damn, I wanted to go meet my sister first,” she said, and I barely stopped my expression from changing. “You will meet her after the meeting ends,” I said.
To that, she nodded and stepped out of bed.
A second later, a teleportation formation appeared under our feet, and we disappeared and appeared in the central command.
Nearly everyone was present, including Raymond Leon; he was the only one among the new Grand Lords who had not suffered any injuries.
With him advancing into the Grand Lord class, he could now use his bonded artifact with even greater expertise, not to mention harness more power.
Many Grimms have attacked the shields from a tree of shields, but not a single one could breach it.
We took our seats; I could see joy lighting up in the Professor’s eyes as she looked at her name appearing in front of her as she sat, her gaze especially fixed on the name of the organization below it.
For the first time in over three thousand years, two Grand Lords of the Riverfield academy are sitting at this table.
