2903 Meeting
I opened my eyes and got up from the moment I had; all the eyes of the Grand Lord fell on me. “Michael come, take a seat,” said Matron Mavis, offering an empty seat opposite her.
“Thank you, Matron,” I said and appeared by the seat before sitting on it.

“From all of us, I once again want to thank you; if not for your timely appearance, we would have needed to take some drastic action that would have had bad consequences,” she said, casting a glance at Lord Hern before turning back to me.
“There is nothing to thank me for; what I did was my duty,” I replied with the same words as I had replied earlier.
“You were always reliable; I wish these old women had the insight to take you at the same time as that little girl,” she said softly and got the look from Lady Vivian.
The silence descended, but it only lasted for a second before everyone focused back on the battle. “Our powerhouses are doing fine; I don’t think we would need to send any reinforcements,” said Lord Sylvian, who, as I had expected, had leveled up in the world without taking aid from that thing.
“We are in balance, but we should be ready to deal with any emergency the moment, it appears,” replied Grand Commander; everybody here is intelligent enough to understand what she is talking about.
The people are coming from the thing.
“Good, once the battle is over, Gatlin, you will go there to relieve Angela; she had been there for long enough,” said Matron, to that Lord Gatlin just nodded.
“Lord Gatlin, congratulations, your method seemed to be working better than I had thought,” I said to him, to that he instantly brimmed. “Yes, the little bugger is finally coming to some use,” he replied with a smile, and a second later, a complete meta-scan of him appeared in front of me.
I immediately focused on the parasite, especially the cylindrical cage enveloping it.
This is not the cage I had cast inside Lord Gatlin when I woke him up from the hall of sleep. That had been destroyed after I entered that thing; now this cage is different; it is from the method which he found.
A quite dangerous method he is practicing, making use of a parasite to increase his power; it comes with huge risk, a slight mistake, and the parasite consuming him; speaking of the parasite, the bugger looks good, far healthier than I had seen it last night.
My seed split into and went inside it and began creating the emergency mechanism in that dangerous thing; even with the method, it is not full in full control of Gatlin; it is just following the orders because Lord Gatlin is feeding it.
“Just be careful, Lord Gatlin; that parasite is far from under your control,” I cautioned, “I am aware of it; I will be extremely cautious till I reach the third level of the method,” he replied, and I am barely able to stop myself from squirming.
Asaenae’h method Level 3: life and death both; at the third level, their lives will be connected; if one dies, the other one will die too.
So, no matter how much the parasite wants to consume Lord Gatlin, it won’t be able, instead, it will aid him, but it will be not be easy to reach that level. I have read the method myself, and it is extremely hard and will take him years, even centuries, to reach that stage.
“Lord Zaar, I will need the information on all the Grimms; I had asked you to collect; we will need to prepare for what is coming,” said Supreme Commander.
Aware of some of my abilities, she has asked me to collect information on Grimms, especially those who reached the Grand Lord or those who have the ability to reach there.
‘I have already compiled the information you need,” I said and handed her a blue crystal; she was a little surprised but took it and began to read the information inside; a minute later, her expression turned bad.
“How bad is it?” asked the matron as Supreme Commander placed the crystal down, “Bad,” she replied and handed, handed her the crystal; a minute later, her expression turned bad too.
“I don’t think we need to worry about the Grimms that will come of the thing; from what I have seen, we will also have enough powerhouses to deal with the Grimms that will come out,” I said, surprising them all.
“It is the current Grimm Grand Lords we should be worrying about more; many of them might have cards against which we need to be extremely careful,” I said, sobering the surprise on their faces.
“Has something happened in your battle against the old snake?” asked Lord Sylvian, “Divinity,” I said to their shock, and the next second, a white crystal appeared in my hand, inside which was black-red mist.
I activated the small formation on the crystal, and immediately, the divine aura shot out of the crystal, bringing horror to the faces of those who were present physically.
I had Lord Hern and Lord Whitmore protected under my energy, but I let some of the muted aura passes through the energy layers, so they could sense it too.
“How powerful is it?” asked Matron, bearing a serious expression that I have seen only a few times; divinity is no joke; the powerhouses who possess the capabilities to harness it are dangerous; the leader of Grimm in the last epoch was the most dangerous among all, nearly finishing off the whole race single-handedly.
If not for Ramona Hawthorn and her excellency stopping him, the Grimms would have been ruling the world now.
“It is very powerful; if I come across it, I will run away with all my might,” he replied, asking for crystal, which I handed him.
“I think I have made it spent nearly all divinity it had, but nothing could be said; it might have more, or it might use that way to collect the divinity in the shortest time,” I said and could see relief come flooding in the faces of some people.
“Supreme commander, keep a very close eye on the tribe of the old snake; we do not want to miss if it used that ritual, and everyone, please be careful of the old snake, even more now,” she said.
“You don’t have to tell us that, mavis; if it is up to me, I will never see that old wretched bastard,” replied Patriarch Bastard and spitted wherever he was.
I don’t think many people here would dare to face the old snake after that curse; they had a defense against it, and if not for me, they would have been consumed by it now.
“Good,” she said and turned to me, “Michael, how long will your method be able to suppress the curse inside them?” Matron asked.
“A week to ten days, but I am working on the way to extending that; I think I will be able to do it a few days,” I replied, “And cure?” asked Salus Bishop the moment I finished.
“The curse is at primary-II level, Lord Bishop; suppression is all I can do right now,” I replied; there are some leads on curing it, but I am not going to share them until they lead to some concrete results.
