2733 I Am In Control
“You should try harder, Fasra; the cracks have almost healed,” I said as only 10% of the cracks have remained. My shield already healed fully a while ago; the cracks the Grimms are seeing right now, healing extremly slowly, are fake. I had created them, so it wouldn’t run away, seeing the futility of the efforts.
“You bastard, just shut up,” roared Fasra in frustration, but a couple of seconds later, its eyes suddenly became calm, and there was even a twinkle in them.
“It is clear that I could not break through your shields,” It said, “It is good you understand that,” I replied, and instead of getting angry, there was a sneaky smile on its huge space.
“But it is also clear that you could not get out of this prison of mine,” It said slowly, and the smile on my face disappeared.
“So, I will just move this prison.” It said with a wide smile on its face, “You might be able to defend against my attack, but I refused to believe you will able to a couple of powerhouses the same level as me; hell, I would even call an absolute peak powerhouse here, if I needed too,” It added and the wide smile turned into the laugh.
BOOM!
It did not keep laughing for long; a minute later, its expression became serious and boomed through the air, pulling the prison behind it.
“It is quite a great plan, but what are you going to do about the monsters; they will not easily let you leave this place,” I said a couple of seconds later when I saw a few monsters coming toward us.
“Hehe, you do not need to be worried about them, Zaar; they are not as troublesome as you are,” it replied without looking and slashed down its shark teeth sword at the huge that appeared close to it.
RIP!
Its blade decapitated the monster cleanly, sending down both of its parts. I was quite surprised seeing the ease with which it had killed the monster considering the monster was nearly as powerful as it.
Rip Slash Bang
The single attack stopped the monsters for a while before another came, and it also suffered the same fate as the first. After that, many others came, but the numbers slowed after it killed ten-some; now, only the daring monster came, and they came at minutes of break.
“See, didn’t I tell you, the monsters are not as troublesome as you are,” It said with a grin, “It seemed they are not, but they are still taking quite a lot out of you,” I replied, and its grin froze.
Th dumb monsters might have been fooled by the strong, vigorous aura it is projecting, but I did not. It was already quite spent dealing with me, and when it began to kill the monsters with a single attack, it started to draw a large amount of energy, which cost its reserves a lot.
“Humph!”
It snorted and flew at even greater speed, taking me with it while killing all the monsters that came at it within a single attack.
If I had been in place, I wouldn’t have been able to do something like that; even with all the advancements, I could not kill the monsters the way it kills them. I do not have enough energy to perform such a feat; I will have to burn my blood to achieve such a feat, which I am very much unwilling to do.
It is the reason why I decided to use precious resources to stop the crack, as I did not want to burn my blood.
The next forty-two minutes were in complete silence; it was fully focused on getting away from this region and killing the monsters that came at me while I was at a critical juncture.
I had finally succeeded.
It had taken a lot of effort; I can’t remember the amount of effort I have taken against any other Grimm than it. It had taken me and my clone together, and if not for our extremly fine control that few could match, we wouldn’t have been able to do it.
“You know, you should run away when you found out you could not kill me,” I said softly, but Fasra’s senses were more than strong enough to hear it, as it immediately stopped and turned toward me with deep fear in eyes, which it desperately trying to hide under the confident front.
“You are dead, Zaar; you shouldn’t act like you have everything in control,” It mocked and tried to mock, but I could clearly sense the deep fear in its eyes.
“I am in control, Fasra; the control you have given to me by staying,” I said, and it shuddered visibly.
“Your strings are useless, Zaar; you are inside the prison where not even a slight air energy could pass through, and I still have protection,” It said, making the powerful energy protection visible; it had deactivated it, even when everything seemed in its control.
“Really, then what it is?” I asked, and my strings became visible, thousands of strings finer than the hair coming out of me and them passing through the twenty-four layers of prison. To make things interesting, I did not make all the strings visible, only the strings inside the prison.
“You are bluffing; there is no way your strings can bind me with the protection,” it said with deep fear in its eyes; all the fake confidence had disappeared from its eyes.
“Since you don’t believe me, how about I give some glimpse,” I said with a smile.
For a second, nothing had happened, and I could see the fear in its eyes disappearing. It opened its mouth to mock me when it suddenly froze when it saw the dense energy cover surrounding it flickering; not only the cover but also the prison in which it is caging no.
“No! This can’t be happening.” It screamed loudly in horror; I just broke the connection between it and the moves, and without the connection and constant supply of energy from it, the moves would disappear in a couple of seconds.
“Bastard, I will kill you when we meet next time!” It said and ran away, leaving me confused. I had thought it would try to self-destruct or do something reasonable, seeing it bound, but it tried to run away.
It seemed like it was truly thinking I was bluffing or just saying those words to confuse the shit out of me, so it would run away.
“Stop!” I said. I am not going to let it run away; even in my confusion, I have worked too hard to get this bastard to let it run away.
It stopped with my command before coming toward me as I pulled; its face looked comical while being frozen in horror, and I could see it was finally taking a decision to go within a bang, which is more than welcome and was the reason why I have wasted so much time talking to it.
“I should thank you; the boost I will get from you will help me kill more of your kin,” I said and could see the confusion in its eyes, which I am not willing to elaborate on.
