MMORPG: Rebirth as an Alchemist

586 The End of Russet

Prince Zeroth had a wide arsenal of spells and skills in his arsenal. And two of them were powerful enough to withstand Russet’s attacks.

[Dark Sanctuary] and [Obsidian Rampage].

[When activated [Dark Sanctuary], a radiant barrier of shimmering energy surrounds Prince Zeroth, forming an impenetrable shield. The barrier absorbs and nullifies incoming attacks, rendering him invulnerable for a short duration.

Any harm inflicted upon Prince Zeroth during this time is instantly reflected back at the attacker, amplifying the damage several-fold. The barrier’s ethereal glow pulsates with resilience, warding off even the most formidable assaults.]

Of course, Ren saved this spell to his [Mind Palace]. It might come in handy in the future.

While the [Obsidian Rampage] was the most offensive skill the Prince had.

[Prince Zeroth wielded his sword with masterful precision, channeling his enhance strength and agility into a flurry of devastating strikes. Each swing of his blade creates ripples of ethereal energy, leaving trails of sparkling shadows in its wake.]

The [Obsidian Rampage] was a unique skill for the Prince, which inflicted grievous wounds upon foes, bypassing their defenses and leaving them vulnerable to subsequent attacks.

Ren didn’t bother to save it because his STR was non-existent and he couldn’t equip swords and blades.

As the battle intensified, Prince Zeroth and Russet faced off, each unleashing their formidable powers.

Prince Zeroth, surrounded by [Dark Sanctuary], stood firm against Russet’s fiery onslaught. The barrier shimmered with an otherworldly glow, deflecting the dragon’s relentless attacks and reflecting the searing flames back at her with multiplied force. With each strike, the barrier pulsated with resilience, holding strong against Russet’s fury.

Sensing an opening, Prince Zeroth swiftly transitioned from defense to offense. With a flourish of his sword, he invoked the power of [Obsidian Rampage]. His movements became a blur as he engaged in a breathtaking display of swordplay.

Each swing of his blade carved through the air, leaving trails of dark light in its wake. The dark energy infused within the blade allowed it to slice through Russet’s scaled defenses with ease, leaving deep gashes in her formidable form.

As the clash continued, Prince Zeroth seamlessly alternated between his defensive and offensive skills, utilizing the impenetrable barrier of [Dark Sanctuary] to withstand Russet’s assaults while unleashing the devastating precision of [Obsidian Rampage] to chip away at her defenses.

The combination of his defensive mastery and the sheer power of his swordplay allowed the Prince to hold his ground and inflict substantial damage upon the fearsome dragon.

Elena and Isolde were about to join in when out of the blue, a flying creature flew into the dragon’s mouth. One crunch, and it was gone.

However, in its place, a bright light engulfed the whole area, and in its glare emerged a large creature that was a hybrid of fox, bird, and dragon.

Pii unleashed a deafening roar, signaling its impending attack. The air crackled with electric energy as Pii’s mouth opened wide, releasing a torrent of electrical power. The surge of raw power burst forth like a raging storm, engulfing Russet’s massive dragon form.

The blast struck Russet with devastating force, causing her to reel back in agony. The electrical energy coursed through her scales, sizzling and chipping away at her HP. The once imposing dragon now showed signs of vulnerability as her HP dropped to half.

“Augh . . . right. I forgot that you have that little fellow . . . ,” Elena muttered dully.

Isolde lowered her weapon and could only nod in agreement. The fight had become lopsided in the presence of Pii’s evolved form. There was no point in further engagement when Pii had assumed control of the battle, its power unmatched.

Even the Prince was stunned at the sudden creature and couldn’t help but fall back as the two Titans fought each other.

“You could have told me that you have that thing with you. I didn’t have to use this skill,” said Prince Zeroth to Ren.

Ren only shrugged. “You’ve already transformed and launched the attack even before I could open my mouth.”

The corner of Prince Zeroth’s rose at Ren’s remark.I think you should take a look at

As Russet’s weakened form struggled to regain her composure after the electrifying assault, Pii seized the moment to strike the final blow. With a burst of speed and agility, the creature darted toward the dragon, moving with unparalleled grace.

Pii’s frame seemed insignificant compared to Russet’s immense size, but its power and skill proved otherwise. Pii leaped and flew through the air, evading Russet’s feeble attempts to counterattack. It was a dance of lightning-fast movements, each one calculated and precise.

With a resounding screech, Pii landed on Russet’s vulnerable underbelly, sinking its sharp claws deep into the dragon’s flesh. A surge of electric energy coursed through Pii’s body, amplifying its strength and delivering a final, devastating blow. The electrified attack pierced through Russet’s defenses, shattering her remaining HP in an instant.

Russet let out a thunderous roar of defeat as her massive form crumbled to the ground, reverting back to her original form. The battle was over, and Pii emerged victorious, its eyes gleaming with a mix of triumph and pride.

The onlookers, including Prince Zeroth, Elena, and Isolde, watched in awe as Pii single-handedly brought down the final boss.

Ren couldn’t be anymore happier that the fight for the final boss was over quickly. He was glad that he had reserved Pii for this.

As the dust settled and the echoes of the battle faded, Pii returned to its normal size while a victory notification rang in Ren’s ears as well as the prompt for his rewards.

“Russet, you’re beaten. There’s no use in struggling anymore. Where’s Queen Aurora’s true body? Where’s my sister?” asked Elena.

Laying on the floor, gasping and laughing, was Russet’s weakened form. “Fools! Do you think this is over?! I am merely a pawn in this game! Even if I’m gone, nothing will change!”

“Is that right?” Prince Zeroth raised his sword, an ominous-looking great sword that had jagged razor blades. “Then we don’t have any need of you.”

A sudden gust of cold wind swept the area, and when it settled, a figure emerged from the shadows.

“I can’t let you kill her just yet.”
