Huo Qingyuan nodded at Yang Qing rather politely and said, “I’m shopping with my second sister-in-law.”

Yang Qing’s smile froze, knowing that Huo Qingyuan referring to was Huo Xishen’s wife, the woman who caused Leng Yuxi to sulk in tears every single day.
She cast her shrewd gaze on Yan Jinyi and said with a great sense of superiority that arose by nature. “Second Young Mistress Huo, you seem a little miserly. Yuxi is the most outstanding socialite in this circle. She stays at home to study everyday so, Second Young Mistress Huo, you may look for her for help when you’re free. After all, Second Young Mistress Huo, you have to mind your image because you represent the Huo Family!”
After saying that, she paused before adding, “Of course, I’m just standing from the perspective of an elder and giving you a suggestion. Please don’t be offended, Second Young Mistress Huo.”
Yan Jinyi raised her eyelids slightly with a cold and aloof expression. From time to time, she would stare at the clothes on the rack and ask, “Oh, it’s nothing much to be offended about.”

Leng Jing didn’t say anything because she knew how impressive her cousin was and how no one could take advantage when with her.

Yan Jinyi spread her hands regretfully and said, “As you said, I don’t have my golden pot yet, so how can I have money to save in an account with your company? How about you lend me money and I’ll repay the loan with the interest that I earn?”
Yang Qing’s smile stiffened but she couldn’t find a single flaw in her words.
However, she reckoned that she wasn’t financially-savvy and thought that she was just a silly woman who had gotten lucky enough to marry a wealthy man, as cliché as it sounds.
‘I just need to find a chance to fool her…’
After making up her mind, Yang Qing’s attitude towards Yan Jinyi became much better.
