And the match began!

Luocheng had never felt such a blood-boiling excitement after hearing the “30 seconds until minions spawn” in the longest time he played LOL.

Crush them! Yes, crush them!

To him, this was not “just a game” anymore. This game had filled him with so much passion and rage!

Now, all that Luocheng could see and all that he cared for, was the screen. He was not controlling the Champion as an LOL player. No. His spirit and soul were already becoming one with his Champion.

“Watch out, he’s strong.” Jupiter warned Guan Langjie.

“Who the hell is this guy?” Langjie asked.

“He’s essentially the founder of our Sky Club. That runner-up cup that you see in our lobby? He’s the one who acquired it. Well, that was a DOTA cup though…” Jupiter replied in a stern voice.

“DOTA? Heh, so it’s not LOL then. Give me a break, man. There are many players who came from DOTA but they are still squashed by us, the LOL newcomers. Come on, Championships in E-sports are short-lived, alright? The so called ‘seasoned players’ are nothing but wimps who get weaker by the day!” Langjie retorted with a smirk.

Jupiter frowned as he looked at the confident, cocky Langjie.

This kid had never been through the older bloodier days of E-sports. He would never understand just how much of a formidable foe Fighting Hawk was. Even now, when facing Luocheng head on, Jupiter could still feel every single nerve in his body tensing up.

Perhaps it was better for Langjie to not understand this foe’s capabilities as it would save him from all the stress that Jupiter was experiencing now.

Entering the field, Langjie took a glance at the ADC, Vayne, that was creep scoring, before letting out a scoff.

It was not easy to get the upper-hand on the bottom lane, even more so, this ADC that was carrying a Flash and Barrier would be even harder to kill.

However, it was still a Vayne after all, and she had the usual skills and techniques that ranged up to 550. His Varus, the Arrow of Retribution, had 30 points more range than Vayne, there was no way he could lose!

Nothing much happened at the top lane, and the middle and the bottom lane were also quite peaceful for now. After hearing Bao Jun’s mention of Luocheng’s past, everyone at the scene was expecting a jaw-dropping performance.

Contrary to their expectations, all he was doing at the moment was creep scoring.

There was no murderous intent or aura that one would feel from watching top players at war on the field. Instead, it felt as though this was just a normal match. Slow but gradual growth as he took his time to creep score, with the aid of two supports, while Zilean and Fiddlesticks hurled attacks at one another in an attempt to deplete their opponent’s HP.

This went on for 8 minutes and no champion was slain. Everyone had thought that this was going to be a fierce battle, and yet, the match was so peaceful that it felt a little unbearable.

10 minutes had passed by and still, no champion was slain. The bottom lane, which was the usual conflict-ridden area, was also very peaceful.

“Now as we can see here, Vayne has gotten herself a Blade of the Ruined King. If I’m not mistaken, she’d have two Lifesteals. Even if her first equipment was nothing but a sword, Vayne would still be able to hold on her own. Acquiring a Blade of the Ruined King in 10 minutes without slaying any Champion, this was indeed the fastest one could do. Of course, he’d need to slay a few Krugs first, otherwise, his pockets would be a little too light.”

A Blade of the Ruined King in 10 minutes. Luocheng did not even get a pair of boots yet, just that blue-ish Blade of the Ruined King sitting there serenely in his first slot!

Indeed, Vayne would need some time to grow. However, after acquiring the Blade of the Ruined King, he quickly changed his strategy!

Luocheng did not want to waste too much time getting the other equipment, and after acquiring the weapon he needed, he quickly went on a killing spree!

“Whoosh!”

Vayne’s bow quickly turned to silver as its string vibrated out a sound. As the holy silver energy charged up into the arrows, blinding lights started to rain outward!

In the meantime, Wu Sen pressed the E key and activated Zilean’s Time Warp!

This would grant his allies a boost of 55% movement speed. Receiving the effects of the boost, Vayne quickly zipped out of her enemies line of sight, her cape flapping against the wind!

Langjie had only just farmed a wave of minions before realizing that Vayne was charging toward him at a blinding speed with her bow and Silver Bolts!

With no hesitation, Luocheng pressed the F key!

He knew that as soon as his arrow was launched, Fiddlesticks would inflict “Terror” upon his Vayne!

“Why hasn’t the Fiddlesticks terrified Vayne yet? Is his skill still on cooldown?”

“Oh, no! That’s not it! It’s been cleansed in an instant! Luocheng reacted so quickly that he had Vayne cleansed of the debuff before it could even be seen on her head!”

Excitement could be heard from Bao Jun’s commentary!

This attack was so quick and sudden that everyone was astounded!

Just a few moments ago, the match had been very peaceful and devoid of conflicts, and yet now, just one Blade of the Ruined King was enough to stir up a storm of bloodshed!

Everyone had seen Vayne activate the Summoner spell “Cleanse”, but they did not get to see the exact moment of its activation. They’d thought that it had already been activated prior to her charging in, but they had all gotten it wrong — it had been activated sheer seconds before the “Terrified” icon could appear above Vayne’s head!

“D*mn, this had to have been controlled not via his hands and fingers, but by his will! If one were to react with Cleanse the moment the enemy inflicts Terror on them, ordinary folk would require at least 0.5 seconds to react and then another few seconds to press the keys. Yet, pressing the key to activate Cleanse in under 0.2 seconds? He surely must have done that through his will alone and activated Cleanse at the very moment Fiddlesticks opened his arms!” Bao Jun continued on with his professional commentary.

Usually, every instant-click or instant-reaction was done when one knew what to expect. Many players only knew how to cast skills and their ultimates followed up by ravaging whatever was in front of them. They would never consider what skills their opponents possessed that could destroy them. Thus, if one were to predict his foes counter-attacks, one could then turn the tables in mere seconds!

A support like Fiddlesticks had only one crowd-control skill — “Terror”. That 1.2 seconds of Silence was not going to affect Luocheng in any way.

Hence, the next thing he needed to consider was Fiddlesticks’ weakness!

Jupiter was definitely not going to Exhaust Vayne when she still had 3 seconds of Cleanse effect left on her.

“Cleanse” could strip away any de-buff that was inflicting a champion in an instant. In other words, that 3 seconds of Cleanse could decrease any de-buff’s effectiveness in the following short moments, and so, Fiddlesticks’ Silence and Exhaust wouldn’t be doing much on Vayne.

Jupiter did not panic though, all he needed to do was wait out that 3 seconds. The moment the 3 seconds had passed, he could then hurl his Exhaust on Vayne!

“Thud!”

In an instant, the bolt of the devil darted out of Vayne’s silver crossbow and Condemned Jupiter!

“THUD!”

Fiddlesticks’ body was pinned to the stone wall, unable to move a muscle, and his Exhaust was still not ready to be launched yet. Jupiter’s eyes widened as the scene played out before him, he couldn’t believe his eyes!

In order to protect Varus, Fiddlesticks had unwittingly stood at a location where his back was facing right at a wall. More importantly, Jupiter hadn’t thought that Fighting Hawk would anticipate his every move as well!

His Terror had been instantly cleansed, and now, just when he was about to Exhaust her, he was now pinned to the wall instead!

Not only that, Jupiter was even more surprised by the fact that Luocheng had actually not been aiming for Varus — he had been targeting the Support, Fiddlesticks!

Every Support that got pinned to a wall by Vayne could be slain fairly easily in a few series of skill combos. 1.5 seconds of stun! Vayne quickly cast her ultimate in order to ravage the poor Fiddlesticks!

All that Langjie, who was nearby, could do, was to just stand there and watch as his Support was pinned and wasted by Vayne. 2.5 seconds of Exhaust, he was not able to undo this with his barrier!

“Oh, don’t you get too content just yet!”

Overwhelmed by anger, Langjie aimed at Vayne and hit his R key!

Chain of Corruption!

A long black tendril flew out of Varus’ Arrow of Retribution and flew straight toward Luocheng!

However, Luocheng’s finger had already been standing by on the Q key, awaiting for the moment that Varus’ bow would turn black!

Tumble!

The quick agile evasion won a round of raving applause from the spectators!

Varus’ ultimate darted past Vayne’s cape with a piercing sound of wind!

Alas, the Chain of Corruption was unable to bind the Night Hunter.

“What a moron!”

Luocheng ignored Varus and continued with his attacks on Fiddlesticks.

Fiddlesticks quickly hurled Exhaust at Vayne, trying to flash away. However, this was all anticipated by Luocheng, and as he was attacking, he quickly glided to the rear of his enemy. By doing so, Vayne could utilize her agile movement to block the enemy’s escape route, and she did not even need to use her Flash to do it!

First Blood!

Finally!

First Blood after a long, calm, 10 minutes!

“F*ck!” Langjie let out a curse as he vehemently pursued Vayne.

Luocheng was not scared of Langjie at all, quickly moving toward the bushes as he pointed Vayne’s crossbow at Varus.

As soon as Vayne disappeared into the bushes, a silver bolt darted straight toward Varus, enraging Langjie greatly.

Oh, he’d attack me at this time? It’s your death wish!

“Whoosh!”

Suddenly, the Blade of the Ruined King was activated, and Varus’ HP dropped rapidly as Vayne’s HP was recovered.

Then, right after he rolled out of the bushes with Tumble, Luocheng quickly moved downward and away from his hiding spot. Overwhelmed by shame and anger, Langjie quickly Flashed toward his foe!

“FLASH!”

In a split second, Luocheng also activated the same spell, flashing into another row of bushes and out of Varus’ sight!

Langjie was not about to give up, even with the little HP he had left, he continued to chase down his target! Seeing the pursuing Varus, Luocheng’s lips curved up into a smirk.

Luocheng could still remember that Xiao Bei had utilized the bushes to block the enemies sight four times consecutively. He had played his foes like a fiddle before slaying them — it was like a work of art!

Thus, Luocheng too, wanted to re-enact this very same play!

Even if he had just a drop of HP left, it was all he needed to slay Varus!
