Infinite Mana In The Apocalypse

Chapter 3615 Complexities and Contradictions! IV

Chapter 3615  Complexities and Contradictions! IV

What a sad life he led!

Noah uttered such words as Ashmole couldn't help but look at him incredulously before he laughed, his enlarging hand holding his belly as if what was said was the funniest thing he heard.

"Man, the main character syndrome has delved itself in you more than any others. You do not have to pity my life. I have lived for cycles. I have taken many lovers and have had many children. I have lived as a peasant, and ruled as an emperor. I have worked for the Commonwealth in one Frequency, and commanded the Commonwealth in others. I have joined the Watchers of Wheelomachy in some and even waged war against Singed in others. I have lived…Osmont, I have lived!"

HUUM!

His words were resonant and filled with power as the quality of undeniability around him became even more intense, the Nine Pointed Star on his chest beginning to spin like an engine as his weavings released a devouring light that tainted and usurped anything nearby.

Noah looked at this as he shook his head.

"If you have lived this much, then it might be time for you to die, Ashmole."

…!

In his hands, multiple statues of himself appeared. Ashmole gazed towards him coldly as at such a moment…

BZZT!

In the distance, space fluctuated as from the golden strings of existence, a figure made of light manifested.

Humanoid.

Adorned in a green gold robe.

And on his chest…a dazzling Nine Pointed Star could be seen.

What Ashmole had on his chest seemed to be a mere imitation as this Nine Pointed Star seemed genuine.

Complete.

And at this moment, this Nine Pointed Star had many Sockets that held multicolored Gems shimmering with the light of the Megalos themselves!

Noah looked at the newly appearing being calmly as he sent Severed Extractor to do its job, but he found that the entity he was looking at…was not actually here for him to study his Source!

Ashmole turned and looked towards this being coldly as he spoke with a hint of anger.

"The Peacemaker comes to join the fray? Why now? My dear Gem Master, do you anomalies share the same senses?"

The Peacemaker. Gem Master!

Noah heard this name as he raised his brows, thinking back to the weavings he had heard from another conversation he had not too long ago!

The man who appeared in the distance buzzed with weavings of a Source as it was not too clear whether he was Lesser, Greater, or Prime as it seemed to fluctuate.

He placed his hand on his chest as he looked towards Noah briefly before his gaze locked onto Ashmole!

|I came across the knowledge that the moment to make or break you had arrived. If you are to succeed, my peace might be ruined in the future, so I came back to this place that I truly did not want to return to, even in this limited capacity…to ensure your failure, Ashmole. To ensure my peace.|

WAA!

He came back.

He was here, but not really here!

Noah's eyes were luminous as when this being talked about coming back, he seemed to be talking about the very weavings of the Wheel of Existence as he should not be a native of the Prime Frequency of the End.

"Haha…at the precipice of success or failure, and the anomalies that helped me get here are appearing one after another? What, should I expect even more to come? Is that what the Wheel intends? Will it not let me have even this after eons of experimentation?!"

HUUM!

The weavings of Ashmole shook tumultuously as around his enlarging and increasingly distorted body, his faces that had been changing this whole time settled back to that of an old man as around him, stability slowly began to return.

His gaze became cold and detached as he looked at Noah and the Peacemaker.

He gave them both a sidelong glance as he spoke out impassively.

"Did you know? Every single creature under this Wheel of Existence channels through it. All their weavings. All their power. It all flows across a singular channel that is unfathomably hard to change. The Beyonder, The Omnifather…those being managed to overcome the limitations of their channels. The more straightforward forward is to be the only you remaining across frequencies. I theorized they may have stably merged with all their other selves and attained a vastly expanded channel, and they reached that place. But for me…I already have too many transmutations mixed in. If I try to fuse with even more parts of me across frequencies…everything will collapse. So tell me, O Anomalies, what is another path I could take?"

The Alchemist asked calmly as around him, millions of black and white lines seemed ready to strike.

And from the newly appearing Peacemaker, a simple white bow carved with countless runic gems appeared in his hands- this bow becoming raised as a bowstring was slowly pulled back!

Noah looked at this being that provided another viewpoint on the elevation of power that the Beyonder and a few others might have gone through as he replied to his question calmly.

"If you cannot fuse with your other selves, then you can naturally…kill them."

HUUM!

Cold, dreadful words.

And yet they caused Ashmole to smile and nod sadly.

"Yes. My other selves that I have been sharing memories with this whole time…I have ordered them all to die. Do you anomalies understand the weight of that? This…moment that will make or break me as you so said, Peacemaker, is a moment of extreme sadness filled with death. So why not just leave this old man be? After years of studying existence, I am about to change my status from a mere Channeler of Existence…to a Transcendent Channeler of Existence. Free from the influence of others, and capable of doing unfathomably more. After I attain that…I will just do my own thing. There will be no karma between us."

…!

His body gradually became rigid and stable as even while he was finishing his speech, Noah had already unwound a Tzar Versepiercer as it shone with a heartshaking allure.

And the Peacemaker…had already pulled back a bowstring as an arrow shimmering with multicolored brilliance of multiple Megalos buzzed!

"You have lived, Ashmole. It is just time for you to die."

Noah's expression was calm as he released a Versepiercer.

And the Peacemaker gazed out coldly as he released his bowstring and supplemented.

"For my peace, you have to fail, Ashmole."

…!

HUUUM!
