Chapter 1645 - Of Course I Learned It for You
Chapter 1645: Of Course I Learned It for You
Jiang Luoli entered the study and saw Mo Shixiu focused on his work.
He didn’t even look up when she entered.
Jiang Luoli didn’t want to disturb him.
Mo Shixiu had wasted a lot of time because of her.
She placed the coffee on the table and was about to leave.
Just as she turned around, she heard Mo Shixiu’s clear voice behind her. “You made me coffee?”
Jiang Luoli turned around and saw him take a sip of the coffee.
“Mm, I made this. How does it taste?”
Sister Lin used to brew coffee at his place.
Jiang Luoli had learned it from her.
Although the taste wouldn’t be exactly the same as Sister Lin’s, she felt that it shouldn’t be too far off.
She knew nothing about his work.
She couldn’t even share his burden.
She could only make him some coffee and supper.
Mo Shixiu took a sip and smiled. “It’s good. How did you know I like black coffee?”
“Sister Lin told me.”
“So, Sister Lin taught you to brew it? This coffee tastes like Sister Lin’s coffee.”
Jiang Luoli nodded. “Mm, Sister Lin taught me.”
Mo Shixiu smiled again and took two sips before looking up at her. “Why did you want to learn how to make coffee from Sister Lin?”
“Of course it’s for you,” Jiang Luoli said straightforwardly.
Mo Shixiu was stunned. The man’s handsome and noble face immediately heated up. He lowered his head and pretended to cough twice to cover his strange expression. “Y-Yes.”
Jiang Luoli nodded. “Mm, I learned it for you, of course. I don’t like bitter coffee. Sister Lin said you liked it, so I learned it from her when I had nothing to do. That way, I can make coffee for you when she’s not around.”
The man’s face was already a little hot, but after hearing her words, the heat on his face deepened.
It wasn’t like other women had never confessed to him.
But he felt nothing for them.
But Jiang Luoli’s words affected him greatly.
She was still confessing to him, but he couldn’t maintain his composure anymore.
“Do you really think it tastes good?”
“Mm, it’s pretty good.”
Jiang Luoli smiled and said, “Then, I can make you coffee in the future. Alright, continue with your work, I won’t disturb you anymore. I’ll go out first. Don’t work too late. Work is important, but your health is more important.
“Let me know if you’re hungry. I saw some ingredients in the kitchen. They can be used for supper.”
Mo Shixiu looked down and nodded. “Mm.”
He thought for a while and asked, “You can cook?”
“Of course.” Jiang Luoli raised her chin. “This is a life skill that everyone has to learn. I knew how to cook when I was still in junior high school. But I don’t cook that much now, so my culinary skills got rusty. But I’m fine with basic homemade dishes.”
Mo Shixiu smiled. “This is indeed the most basic life skill. But there aren’t many girls who can cook now.”
“Then, are you happy?”
