Fury Towards The Burning Heaven

Since Mo Shangxing had said he was confident of killing the Primordial-Grade Chaos Beast, Jiang Yi naturally believed that Mo Shangxing could easily fend off the Primordial-Grade Chaos Beast for a while. Hence, there shouldn’t be much problem if the Heaven Emanations and Demon-Killing Battle Gods behind follow along. After all, this group’s battle strength was considerable; they might be able to lend a hand if they went.

Almost all the tens of thousands of soldiers had been placed inside spatial divine items. Jiang Yi was also being surrounded by a horde of people; there were at least three to four hundred people squeezed together. With a few hundred Heaven Emanations and Demon-Killing Battle Gods giving their all and flying at their fastest, sending out their strongest attacks; all the Chaos Beasts that approached were killed. With their combined effort, they soon neared Mo Shangxing and company. Many Heaven Emanations also started to detect that terrifying Primordial-Grade Chaos Beast!

In the wilderness afar, a streak of black smog was like a black tornado, twisting around incessantly. This black tornado was also shooting out black arrows one after another at a frightening speed. Mo Shangxing and the others were all surrounding that black tornado, trying to dodge those arrows while attacking the black tornado nonstop.

However, most of their attacks did not seem to have much effect on the tornado. Only the streaks of shooting stars from Mo Shangxing managed to knock that tornado back a few hundred feet.

“Where is the Prefecture Lord?”

A few of the Xiao Clan Heaven Emanations looked around but did not see Xiao Hong; they thought that he had died as their faces darkened. From afar, Xiao Shan’s voice rang forward, “What are you guys waiting for? Hurry up and help to kill this Chaos Beast; the Prefecture Lord is within my spatial divine item!”

Hearing that Xiao Hong was still alive, everyone was relieved. Jiang Yi eyed that huge black tornado as he shouted, “Get near it! Remember to guard my retreat!”

The two Heaven Emanations bringing Jiang Yi transformed into beams of light as they flew towards that huge tornado. Jiang Yi controlled his Xiaozhuan characters into a straight line, just like a golden sharp sword. He positioned the Xiaozhuan characters towards that black tornado.

Mo Shangxing and company’s eyes lit up as the Xiaozhuan characters hit the tornado. A huge portion of the black aura forming the black tornado was swiftly cleansed as black scales that had a cold glow became visible.

The Primordial-Grade Chaos Beast seemed to feel threatened as the black tornado shot out a few streaks of black aura; they were all aiming at Jiang Yi. Mo Shangxing transformed into a shooting star as he used his body to block the few attacks. He roared, “Attack!”

Mo Shangxing and a few Titled Heaven Emanations attacked simultaneously while the Heaven Emanations behind Jiang Yi also unleashed all sorts of mystical abilities, distracting the Chaos Beast from attacking Jiang Yi. Jiang Yi continued to control his Xiaozhuan characters. Every time they hit the black tornado, the Netherworld Aura around the Chaos Beast would be cleansed.

Steadily, the black aura around the Primordial-Grade Chaos Beast grew thinner; Mo Shangxing and company’s attacks also grew more ferocious. As long as there wasn’t any Netherworld Aura blocking their attacks—no matter how strong this Chaos Beast was, it could still be killed given time.

Jiang Yi also could see this Chaos Beast’s true form at last. It was a huge, black python that was ten-thousand feet long; its head was flat, and its eyes were slightly protruding. It was glowing as its body was covered with black scales. Jiang Yi also finally witnessed how formidable a Primordial-Grade Chaos Beast’s defenses were. Although a few Titled Battle Gods had attacked for so long and only a few of its scales had been destroyed. However, as its body was bleeding black blood steadily, it was evident that—with time—it could still be killed.

“Jiang Yi, continue your attack!”

Mo Shangxing’s face was still not visible. However, his eyes were brightly lit. A ten-million-year-old Chaos Beast’s Chaos Pearl was going to be worth a lot. Even if everyone had a fair share, everyone would be well-rewarded.

Most importantly, to be able to kill a ten-million-year-old Chaos Beast was an honor beyond measure.

It became enraged as it revealed its tongue and its bloodshot eyes turned. Its body actually shot up into mid-air. Its huge body tumbled around in mid-air as it let out a thunderous, strange cry. After this cry was released, everyone’s eyes—including Mo Shangxing’s—suddenly grew confused. Even Jiang Yi was not immune to this cry!

The snake’s bloodshot eyes fixed onto Jiang Yi as a light furiously grew brighter on its head. The snake’s head actually started to grow bigger and bigger; it finally became a thousand feet wide and furiously snapped at Jiang Yi and the few hundred Heaven Emanations around him; it was going to swallow them whole.
