Ning Shu and Xiao Ming ran for a while before stopping. Ning Shu plopped her butt down on the ground. Xiao Ming sat down as well and then started writing and drawing on the ground with a stick.

Ning Shu nodded. He was very strong. His abilities were shooting up like a rocket. Ning Shu said, “In the future, let’s not go to the base if there’s nothing important.”
“Day, did you find who you were looking for?” Xiao Ming hadn’t forgotten their objective.
Ning Shu shook her head. The senior commander hadn’t appeared when the zombies attacked the base. It seemed that Wolf had already become the ruler of the base.
The worse outcome would be that Wolf had already killed the senior commander.
Ning Shu became depressed when she thought of this possibility. She then said, “From now on, we’ll just keep a tight watch on that base.”

It pissed Phoenix and Wolf off a lot, so they formed a small team of ability users to deal with the two.

The reason Wolf and Phoenix were so insistent in killing Ning Shu and Xiao Ming wasn’t for revenge or the safety of the base, the most important reason was because they wanted to get their crystal nuclei.

Every time that Wolf showed up though, Ning Shu and Xiao Ming would immediately flee. After all, lightning abilities did the most damage to zombies.
Fuck! They were seriously shameless, to flee whenever they couldn’t win. It caused Phoenix and Wolf to be so angry that they bit their cheeks.
Ning Shu felt like she was courting death. If she continued provoking the male and female leads like this, sooner or later she would end up being killed off.
She glanced over at Xiao Ming who was drawing again and said, “From now on, don’t follow me to the base. You’ll be killed by the people there.”
She felt bad for dragging Xiao Ming with her to provoke the male and female lead.
