Bank of the Universe

Murong Longcheng sat in front of Li Xiandao and looked around. This feeling was both foreign yet familiar.

20,000 years ago, the Master of the Bank of the Universe changed over. That arrogant person turned into this gentle Master. He just sat there with his back straight and gave off stability like he was a mountain.

 He was totally different from the last Master.

 The way he dealt with things was different too.

 Murong Longcheng started to adjust the way he spoke.

 “I want to deal with the Bank of the Universe.” Murong Longcheng said.

 “Deal with what?” Li Xiandao asked.

 “I will give Heaven Mountain to you and all of its resources will be yours, including myself. I will be your slave and your subordinate.” Murong Longcheng said firmly.

 Li Xiandao frowned. When he heard about such good conditions, his first reaction wasn’t joy. Instead, his heart sank.

 The conditions were too good such that Li Xiandao was tempted.

 But since Murong Longcheng requested such conditions, he would definitely demand for more.

 Li Xiandao looked on calmly without any excitement.

 Murong Longcheng looked at how calm Li Xiandao was and his heart sank. This Master was totally different from the last one. If the former Master heard these conditions, he would have agreed right away.

 But Li Xiandao just calmly asked, “What do you want?”

 Murong Longcheng said honestly, “Heaven Mountain, including me and the other people, are in trouble. The Bank of the Universe will help us get out of it.”

 Li Xiandao knew that things weren’t as simple as they seemed. Who knew what trouble they were in?

 “It’s not a legend. It’s the truth!” Murong Longcheng said proudly.

 “You know him?” Li Xiandao asked.

 “Old Man Tianchi is my senior brother. We learned from the same master and he joined earlier than me. We lived together for a few thousand years.” Murong Longcheng reminisced the past.

 Li Xiandao nodded, “Continue.”

 “My Senior Brother Old Man Tianchi is a genius. He reached the peak in the Nine Skies long ago and broke through to Celestial Realm and flew to the Celestial World.” Murong Longcheng talked about his senior brother with pride.

 “But he came down a few years after he headed up.” Murong Longcheng’s tone changed and he said regretfully.

 “What? Many people wanted to head up, so why did he return?” Li Xiandao didn’t understand.

 “I asked him for his reasoning before but he said that the Celestial World had changed and it wasn’t as good as he thought it was. It wasn’t a fantasy land but hell.” Murong Longcheng said honestly.

 “And then?” Li Xiandao continued to ask.

 “My Senior Brother came down alone and offended the Celestial World. What made Celestial World angry is the fact that the Sword God who ascended along with him killed many in the Celestial World before fleeing.” Murong Longcheng added.

 Li Xiandao’s squinted. He heard a familiar name.

 Sword God!

 Li Xiandao knew that Sword God’s time was too short. When he was at his peak, he fought up to Celestial World, killing many people before he himself died.

 This was the same as what Murong Longcheng had said, the only difference was that Sword God headed down from above.

 Li Xiandao thought about it and then looked at Murong Longcheng, wanting to listen more.

 “Sword God fled and the Celestials were all furious. They chased him and my Senior Brother also went to help him. With everyone’s help, they laid out the Celestial Slaying Formation. After sacrificing many, they killed all the celestials.” When Murong Longcheng said this, he couldn’t help but feel really emotional.

 “So, you said that a bunch of Nine Skies cultivators laid out a Celestial Slaying Formation, and after sacrificing some people, they killed all the Celestials who came down from above?” Li Xiandao was shocked.

 Seven also looked at Murong Longcheng in shock and found it unbelievable.

 In the Ten Lands when people from Nine Skies came down, no one from Ten Lands could kill them. They had no choice but to send the judge who was raised by the Ten Land’s Dao itself.

 But in the Nine Skies, a bunch of cultivators worked together and killed many celestials.
